It’s also recognized as the world’s longest single-tower cable-stayed bridge, making it a true engineering landmark.

The bridge is scheduled to open to traffic on May 12, 2026, marking a major milestone for the region.

The main events take place at Taitung Xuantian Temple, where firecrackers explode nonstop as Master Handan rides the palanquin straight into the sparks 🔥

📍 On March 3, you can also catch a Bombing of Handan celebration in Chenggong — a coastal town with just as much energy.
