A male employee at a FamilyMart convenience store in Tainan recently performed a heartwarming act that not only touched 20,000 netizens but also sparked heated discussion on social media.

The original poster, a mother, was taking her son to the convenience store for breakfast one morning when she witnessed a heartwarming scene.

A grandfather, wearing only a diaper and a white plaid shirt, walked into the store, looking somewhat dazed. He told the clerk that he desperately wanted milk.

However, the clerk insisted he could only buy four bottles. This puzzled the original poster, who wondered why the clerk limited the amount the grandfather could buy. Was he looking down on the elderly man and refusing to sell to him? After hearing the clerk's words, the grandpa changed his mind and said he wanted a large bottle of milk. The clerk then told him that if he ordered a large bottle, he shouldn't buy a small bottle.

After carefully listening to the conversation, the poster realized that the grandpa was a regular customer and the clerk was familiar with his daily life. He was worried that the grandpa would buy too much milk and not be able to finish it, which would then expire and be wasted, so he kindly offered some advice.

Even more touching was that the clerk showed his concern not only with words but also with actions that were truly admirable.

After paying for the grandpa, he put down his work, told his colleagues he needed to go out for a while, and then followed the grandpa out of the convenience store and walked him across the street. About ten minutes later, the clerk returned to the store, which deepened the poster's respect for him and led her to speculate that he might have taken Grandpa home.

This touching scene was shared on Facebook by the poster, where it garnered 20,000 likes.
