Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons Annual Meeting

So honored to be elected President of the Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons, an amazing international academic organization of surgeons dedicated to the advancing the knowledge and treatment of children all over the world. The 59th Annual Scientific Meeting in Houston was a great success as Past President Marilyn Butler (Toronto, CAN) passed the PAPS medal to me. It’s humbling to know the President’s Medal I’m wearing seen in the picture with my friend Sebastian (Melbourne, AUS) has been passed down over the past 60 years between Stephen Gans, Alexander Bill, Keijiru Surugu, Eric Fonkaslrud, Chad Baxter, and so many others including great friends Marilyn, Cynthia, Spencer, David, Ralph, Ken, Hiro, Ross, Yama, Kevin, Walt, Yama, Eric W, John H , and James. Looking forward to leading PAPS to another great year with friends and colleagues as we look towards the next annual scientific meeting in Okinawa, Japan organized by my good friend Satoshi Ieiri April 18-22, 2027!
