🎓✨ Throwback to a Day We'll Always Cherish

Looking back at the smiles, the proud moments, and the memories made on Graduation Day this June. Every handshake, every hug, and every cap and gown marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Congratulations to our alumnus, Dr. Rodenie Arnaiz Olete, on securing his first major research grant to evaluate the implementation of long-acting injectable HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in the Philippines, in collaboration with Prof. Carol Strong of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) Department of Public Health.

The PINALAPIT Implementation Study is scheduled to launch in August 2026 and will generate evidence to support the implementation of long-acting injectable PrEP within the Philippine health system.

Dr. Olete completed his PhD with a primary focus on Implementation Science Frameworks, and we are proud to see him applying the knowledge and skills gained during his doctoral training to lead impactful, practice-oriented research soon after graduation.

Congratulations, Dr. Olete! We look forward to the meaningful contributions this study will make to HIV prevention and implementation science.

An afternoon filled with teamwork, laughter, and great company ⚾💚

Our undergraduate students and faculty advisors came together for a fun gathering, enjoying friendly competition, shared smiles, and meaningful conversations. It was a wonderful opportunity to take a break from classes, strengthen connections across different years, and create memories that will last long after the game ends.

Here's to building a community where everyone feels connected, supported, and inspired.
