SENITA - Special Education Network in Taiwan

Thank you thank you and thank you for lifting me up this last week. More treatments this next week. I wish I could respond to everyone individually, but believe me when I say that the prayers are heard and the encouragement keeps me going. All of this for me gives such a perspective of the things that are the most important in life should not be taken for granted. Making a gratitude list is a good way to srartt this next round. A simple prayer that I cling to is: "God I give to you the things that are too heavy for me to carry and I leave my hands open to the things you would give to me. Amen."

A little update. AS OF TODAY! It’s been a wild ride the last few weeks. I have been officially accepted into the clinical trial group and should start that next week. I have a couple of tests to get done beforehand but it looks like I’m on track to start. It is an 8-week program with infusions done every two weeks, for a total of 8 weeks. The kidney/uterer removal will happen (anticipated) at the end of March. I think there will be another 8 weeks of therapy after the surgery as well. So, we are getting started! It feels like an eternity but I’m trusting God to do the heavy lifting for our family as we begin this journey.
