「潭陽校友管樂團」成立於民國九十六年六月，以落實管樂教育之延續，提供校友後續提升音樂欣賞、管樂技巧及推廣音樂為目標，並期能藉由校友管樂團的努力與成長，培養團員優質的生活，並帶動潭子地區音樂風氣。

本樂團由李英瑞校長成立，目前在鮑瑤鋒校長的帶領下繼續茁壯、成長，聘請林士偉老師擔任指揮，團員除了定時勤練之外，並受邀在校內外示範演出及協助音樂教育推展。
