Today, our excited and enthusiastic students from Wagor High School gathered early at the airport ✈️ and have now safely arrived in Japan, ready to embark on an in-depth journey of learning, cultural discovery, and global exploration 🌏

📍 Senior High: Tokyo

Though the students are checking in from different regions, they all share the unique opportunity to step into Japanese high schools and experience home-staying, immersing themselves in a lifestyle completely different from theirs, while also visiting iconic local landmarks. ✨

🛸｜無⼈機基礎⾶⾏體驗｜🛸
「創意AI機器人」是葳格週六的特色課程之一，為將深奧的科學知識轉化成有趣的科普體驗，我們與 合作 無人機基礎教育課程 邀請大葉大學徐嘉偉副教授授課，讓同學們親身接觸前沿科技、拓展視野🌐

這堂課從認識無人機的種類開始，逐步了解其飛行原理與性能，並透過模擬器進行安全且真實的模擬練習，幫助學生在操控無人機中建立飛行基礎🕹️ 最後，同學們挑戰國際熱門的無人機競賽項目：無人機障礙穿越和無人機足球，過程刺激又充滿樂趣，展現科技結合體育的魅力⚽

🌎｜DYNAMUN X 第十屆模擬聯合國｜🌎
上週六葳格舉行了第十屆模擬聯合國，葳格的學生與校外生個別擔任聯合國正副主席、幹部與各國家代表。這次的探討主題緊扣當前國際間廣受關注且極具爭議性的議題：「人工智慧在防止錯誤資訊與政治操弄中的角色」🌐在人工智慧技術迅速發展、應用日益廣泛的今天，AI不僅改變了我們接收與處理資訊的方式，也對全球政治環境與社會認知結構產生深遠影響。此次模擬聯合國活動中，代表們積極投入辯論，針對人工智慧在防範錯誤資訊傳播、維護民主機制，以及其本身所可能帶來的倫理爭議與監管困境，進行了深入且多元的討論。這樣的議題不僅具高度挑戰性，也讓我們意識到，在AI熱潮席捲全球的同時，錯誤資訊與政治操弄的風險也隨之升高，絕非可以輕忽的隱憂。

透過本次會議，學生們不僅訓練了理性思辨與公共溝通能力，更學習站在國際視角，思考科技與人類社會之間的互動與未來發展。相信唯有持續對話、跨國合作，才能在科技進步與民主穩定之間取得平衡。這場模擬聯合國會議雖已落幕，但對於未來世界的思考與責任，才正要開始。

葳格中學的模聯是少數開放國中生參加的模聯，感謝國中部家長會陳志銓會長蒞臨致詞以及帶來豐厚的獎品✨ 也特別感謝畢業的學姊 Sabrina 和 Anya 回到母校幫忙擔任主席以及活動長。「國際禮儀交流晚會」更是活動最後的亮點環節🪩 今年的晚會主題是 Vogue (Monochrome)，參與者褪去一身正裝配合指定Dress Code，學習交際舞蹈及合宜的社交禮儀表達💃 ，DJ MONO的氣氛營造更是讓晚會達到高潮😍 ！

The 10th DYNAMUN (Dynamic Model United Nations) - DYNAMUN X - was held on Saturday 14th June at Wagor International School. Both Wagor students and participants from another school took on various key roles, serving as Chair and Co-chair, Staff, and Delegates. This year’s topic was highly relevant and also controversial on the global stage: The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Preventing Misinformation and Political Manipulation.🌐

As AI technology continues to develop rapidly and become increasingly integrated into our daily lives, it is transforming not only how we receive and process information, but also having a profound impact on global politics and social perception. During this event, student delegates engaged in dynamic and in-depth debates, exploring the use of AI to combat misinformation, safeguard democratic systems, and addressed the ethical dilemmas and regulatory challenges that AI itself may pose. This topic was not only intellectually demanding but also a timely reminder of the rising risks of misinformation and manipulation in the age of AI—a concern we can no longer afford to ignore.

Through this event, students not only honed their skills in critical thinking and public communication, but also learned to adopt a global perspective when considering the intersection between technology and society. We believe that only through continuous communication and international collaboration can we strike a balance between technological advancement and democratic stability. While this conference has concluded, the reflections and responsibilities toward our shared global future are only just beginning.

DYNAMUN, Wagor’s unique Model United Nations, stands out as one of the few conferences in Taiwan that welcomes participation from junior high school students as well as seniors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the President of the Parents’ Commitee, Mr. Chen, for joining us and delivering an inspiring speech, as well as for generously providing wonderful prizes✨. A special thanks goes to our distinguished alumni, Sabrina and Anya, for returning to the school to serve as the Chair and Director of Activities respectively.

The evening social event was another highlight that perfectly rounded off the conference🪩. This year’s theme was Vogue: Monochrome. Participants traded their formal DYNAMUN attire for elegant, monochrome-themed outfits and learned ballroom dancing and proper social etiquette💃. DJ MONO elevated the atmosphere and brought the night to another level😍!

🪨｜羅馬砲工程科學競賽｜🪨
八年級的同學在探索課程中學習了「童軍繩結」的打法🪢 接著就是學以致用，運用童軍棍、童軍繩、水瓢和彈力球製作羅馬砲，來場全年級的工程科學對決！

每組隊伍5-7人，先從團隊合作搭建砲台開始🏗️ 放眼望去，同學們的砲台底座有三邊形和四邊形，有的組別精準研究彈射角度，有的組別講求「藝術」😆 足夠完整穩固的羅馬砲，則晉級投擲競賽😎

3、2、1、發射🚀 彈力球一命中橘色大水桶，全場便歡聲雷動！彈力球的飛行軌跡總讓同學們出乎意料，大家玩得不亦樂乎，最終由801班大獲全勝👏

Wagor International School Gratitude Graduation Banquet 《STARLIGHT ODYSSEY 星啟》 葳格國際學校國中部第十七屆畢業感恩餐會🎓

天下沒有不散的筵席，但我們可以在畢業典禮之後，再來一場專屬畢業生、師長與家長的同樂會🥳 今年的餐會現場突破20桌，「續攤」續得熱鬧又溫馨🎉 展現了畢業生的巧思與葳格師生間深厚的情誼💜

活動中，畢業生們依序上台，親自從校長手中接過畢業證書🎖️ 家委會準備了保溫杯作為禮物，象徵將滿滿的關愛「恆溫」送給每位畢業生🌡️ 在校生們也特別製作了影片，讓畢業生們又驚又喜、差點噴飯😆 至於才華橫溢的畢業班不僅製作了訪問同學和老師，以及國中三年生活的回顧影片，還精心準備了許多表演，包括舞蹈、歌唱、爵士鼓與古箏演奏，並在席間運用科技學習工具「Kahoot」和台下連線大玩答題遊戲😎

最後，畢業生向師長致感謝詞，師長們回以深深的祝福與不捨，現場氣氛真摯，在合唱《青蘋果樂園》中完美落幕🌈 今天，我們如同歌詞所說的「盡情搖擺」，用最特別的方式慶祝畢業 ！

After the graduation ceremony, we threw one more celebration just for our graduates, teachers, and parents! 🥳

This year’s banquet was our biggest yet, with more than 20 tables. The after-party was both lively and heartwarming, a true display of our graduates’ creativity and the strong bond between Wagor students and teachers 💜.

During the event, each graduate took the stage to personally receive their diploma from the principal 🎖️. The Parent Committee gifted everyone an insulated tumbler, symbolizing the lasting warmth of their love and support 🌡️.

Current students surprised the graduates with a fun and emotional video that had everyone laughing. Some even nearly spit out their food from laughing too hard! 😆

The talented graduating class created a series of videos, including interviews with classmates and teachers and a heartfelt look back at their three years in junior high. They also put on a variety of performances including dance, singing, jazz drumming, and guzheng (Chinese zither). To top it off, they used the educational game platform Kahoot! to host a fun quiz game with the entire audience 😎.

Toward the end, graduates gave emotional thank-you speeches to their teachers, who responded with heartfelt blessings and a touch of sadness. The atmosphere was deeply moving. The event ended on a high note with everyone singing together 🌈.

Today, we truly celebrated graduation in the most unforgettable way!
