“No one wants to be different, but admitting that you are takes a magnitude of courage far beyond our wildest imagination.”
It takes a hero to be the first. It takes a giant to stand in his truth so others don't have to hide in the shadows. Thank you for your courage, Jason Collins.

The Best Mother’s Day Gift is "Growth"
"Mommy, Daddy, I did it! Speaking in front of people isn't that hard after all!"

Today in class, we witnessed something truly magical. Although you couldn't be here in person, we wish you could have seen the spark in your child's eyes.

From the first day of shy whispers to today’s confident voice, our students have proven one thing: They are capable of so much more than they imagined.

We often wonder what the perfect Mother’s Day gift is. Is it a bouquet of flowers? A fancy dinner? While those are lovely, we believe the greatest gift a mother can receive is seeing her child grow—one step, one word, and one breakthrough at a time.

To all the moms out there: Your child’s progress is their most sincere "Thank You" to you. They worked hard, they stayed brave, and they did it!

Happy Mother’s Day!
May this pride and joy be your most cherished gift this year.

Amidst the storm and the roar of the heart,
Give everything.
Pouring the soul into a single, perfect strike.

Give it all.
Let the dreams carry the stride.

I will own this pitch.
Stay Determined.

This Easter, we chose to share something a little different with our students.

Instead of simply giving out sweets and gifts,
we wanted to leave them with something that lasts longer.

So we taught them what hope means
and more importantly, we let them create it.

Together, the children wrote words of encouragement,
messages filled with hope,
and placed them inside Easter eggs.

So when they found an egg,
there was no chocolate inside
but something even more meaningful.

They opened it,
read the words out loud,
and shared that hope with everyone around them.

Because what we give them doesn’t always have to be something they can hold
sometimes, the most important things are the ones they carry in their hearts.

This Easter, we didn’t just celebrate.
We planted something inside them
a quiet strength to keep going,
and the courage to move forward.

Happy Easter

Last week, during the three-day holiday, we traveled south to Kaohsiung to compete in the Fitness Factory Elite Cup.

It was not an ordinary tournament.
It was a stage where the very best teams from across Taiwan gathered.
Every team was made up of the strongest players from their region.
Every match was a battle.

But the one we will remember for a lifetime was the game on the second night.

Not long after kickoff, the rain began to pour.
It fell relentlessly onto the pitch, and onto the young yet determined shoulders of our children.
In that moment, the world felt enormous, and yet you did not step back.

That night, you stood on an international-level field.
The stands rose two stories high above you.
There were no parents on the sidelines.
No familiar voices close by.
Only you, and us, your coaches.

The feeling of every spotlight shining on you.
The moment when the world suddenly grows quiet, and all you can hear is your heartbeat.
These are experiences many people never have, even when they are grown.

The rain grew heavier.
Your jerseys were soaked.
Your boots felt heavier with every step.
Your vision blurred.

And yet what I saw was something even brighter.

I saw a child fall, and no one laughed.
I saw a mistake, and teammates immediately sprinted back to cover.
I saw a goal scored, and the teammates celebrated even harder than the scorer.

That was not maturity in skill.
That was maturity of the heart.

That night was more than a match.
It was your night.
Your night under the lights.

The lights were real.
The rain was real.
The exhaustion was real.
And so was the emotion.

Some lessons cannot be learned from books.
Some experiences cannot be bought with money.
Some moments cannot be scheduled or reserved like a class.

The running in that rain, the unity in that storm,
will leave a mark in your hearts far longer than any trophy ever could.

At nine years old,
you have already seen more of the world than many people.
You have learned to carry pressure earlier.
You have learned to fight for one another.

Years from now, you may forget the score.
But you will remember the lights in the rain.
You will remember your teammates rushing in to hug you.
You will remember the voices in the stands, shouting until they were hoarse.

That night, you were not ordinary children.
You were the stars beneath the floodlights.

And we, the teachers of DSE, are truly proud.
Thank you for letting us witness such a night.

It was your legend.

❤️Special thanks to 穆仔_運動&旅攝 without you without the best memory

🧧✨ Happy Lunar New Year ✨🧧

As we welcome the Year of the Horse,
we would like to sincerely thank every parent for your trust and support throughout the past year. It is a privilege to walk alongside your children as they grow.

Over the past year, we have witnessed meaningful changes!
from hesitant voices to confident expression,
from waiting to be guided to taking initiative,
from fearing mistakes to embracing challenges.

Some children sweat it out on the football field,
while others confidently share their ideas in English in the classroom.
Different stages, but the same goal,
to nurture a generation that is confident, proactive, and globally minded.

We firmly believe that language is not just a subject, but a bridge to the world.
Education is not only about grades, but about building the courage and character to face the future.

In the coming year, may every child:
🌟 Speak with greater confidence
🌟 Think with greater independence
🌟 Grow with steadiness and resilience
🌟 Step forward with courage

Wishing all our families a joyful, healthy, and prosperous Lunar New Year.
May the Year of the Snake bring continued growth and new beginnings for everyone.

We look forward to another year of learning and growing together. 🧡

從猶豫不敢開口,到自信表達;
從等待指示,到主動行動;

語言不只是學科,而是通往世界的橋樑;

🌱🦅 Learning Beyond the Classroom at 雄鷹探索基地

Today was not about completing challenges perfectly.
It was about learning, growing, and supporting one another.

Some students felt nervous.
Some struggled.
Some wanted to give up.

But instead of stepping back, they chose to stay,
to try again,
and to help each other move forward.

Through every challenge, they learned what teamwork truly means —
listening, encouraging, and trusting their teammates.

Not giving up doesn’t mean they weren’t scared.
It means they learned to face fear
and look for solutions rather than excuses.

What mattered most wasn’t the result,
but the attitude they showed when things became difficult.

We are proud of every student today —
for their courage, their persistence,
and the way they grew through each experience.

These moments may be small,
but they are building confidence, resilience,
and character that will last far beyond today. 🌟

Tom Cruise

"I've been fortunate enough to create these films with, because every step of the way, this whole journey has been shared.

And my love for cinema began when I was a very early age.

I mean, as early as I can remember.

I was just a little kid in this darkened theater.

And I remember that beam of light.

It just cut across the room.

And I remember looking up, and it seemed to me that it just exploded on the screen.

And suddenly, the world was so much larger than the one that I knew.

You know, entire cultures and lives and landscapes and all of it was just unfolding in front of me.

And it sparked something in me.

It sparked a hunger, a hunger for adventure, a hunger for knowledge, a hunger to understand humanity, to create characters, to tell a story, to see the world.

And it opened my eyes. It opened my imagination to the possibility that life could expand far beyond the boundaries that I then perceived in my own life.

And that beam of light opened a desire in me. It opened the world to me. And I have been following it ever since.

I remember being a little kid. I worked every job I could to earn the price of admission.

And when I didn't have enough, you know, I just figured out a damn other way to get in that theater, you know.

So cinema, that takes me around the world.

And it helps me to appreciate and respect differences.

It shows me also our shared humanity, how alike we are in so many ways.

No matter where we come from, in that theater, we laugh together. We feel together. We hope together. We dream together.

And that is the power of this art form.

That is why it matters. That is why it matters to me.

So making films is not what I do. It is who I am.

Cinema has given me a life I could never have imagined.

It has taken me to places I never dreamed I’d go.

It has introduced me to people who have inspired me, challenged me, and shaped me.

And it has allowed me to tell stories that I hope have meant something to someone, somewhere.

So to be recognized in this way… it is overwhelming.

It is humbling. And it is a reminder—of why we do this.

We make films to connect.

To reach out to someone in the dark and say: you are not alone.

And that, to me, is the greatest honor of my life.
