防火安全從小開始學起！孩子們今天體驗了防火演習，從警報響起到疏散完成，孩子們動作俐落又迅速，值得嘉許！
演習結束後，各班到不同區域學習防火知識，黎明消防局志工隊詳細地解說了室內充滿濃煙的逃跑動線，也示範當身上著火時該怎麼做，上台演練的孩子們完美複製正確動作。在操場，孩子們練習灑水滅火：取出消防栓的水管、固定姿勢、瞄準目標、轉動瞄子… … 對孩子們來說是很重要的練習呢！
希望我們永遠不需要使用到今天學到的知識與技巧，但熟記這些步驟是非常重要的喔！

The children took part in a fire drill today. They demonstrated impressive speed and discipline from the initial alarm to the final assembly. Their
performance was truly exemplary.
Following the drill, classes rotated through various stations to deepen their fire safety knowledge. The volunteers from Taichung City Fire Bureau - Liming Fire Station provided detailed instructions on navigating smoke-filled environments and demonstrated the correct procedures to follow if one's clothing catches fire. The students who participated in the demonstration executed the movements flawlessly.
Meanwhile, on the playground, students practiced firefighting skills, including deploying fire hoses, maintaining proper posture, aiming, and operating the nozzle. These practical exercises are essential for emergency preparedness.
We hope these skills will never be needed, but mastering these life-saving steps is of utmost importance.

哇！好可愛的狗狗喔～我可以摸嗎？
當孩子們在路上遇到毛孩時，知道該如何開啟友善的第一步嗎？
今天校園裡來了特別的客人！動物保護協會的老師帶著可愛的「黃金獵犬阿華」（雖然是布偶，但孩子們超認真呢！）來到幼幼班與小班，帶領寶貝們進入狗狗的奇妙世界。
原來狗狗的身體動作有這麼多訊息！像是看到狗狗不能衝過去或直接摸喔！要先伸出手手讓狗狗聞一聞，像是在打招呼說「你好」一樣。另外狗狗喜歡大家稱讚牠們，稱讚的時候語調上揚，狗狗一定聽得懂。還有、還有，狗狗的嗅覺、聽覺、夜晚視覺都超級厲害，所以在狗狗旁邊要注意音量唷！
最後讓孩子們試試看，是否都有記得老師剛才說的步驟呢? 大家都超厲害的！

Do our little ones know how to react when they spot a dog on the street? Today, the Animal Protection Association came to teach the Baby classes and Junior classes some essential "dog language." The kids were surprised to learn that you shouldn't just run up and pet a dog! Instead, we practiced being polite by letting the dog sniff our hands first, and only when they feel comfortable do we give them a gentle scratch under the chin.
We also talked about how dogs’ ears and noses are so sensitive, we learned to use our quiet "inside voices" to keep them from getting startled. The kids also had a blast practicing their "happy talk," since dogs absolutely love being praised in a high-pitched, upbeat tone! To wrap up the day, everyone took turns practicing these steps with A-Hua, our very patient (and very plush) Golden Retriever. It was so heartwarming to see the children remember every single step—they’re already such pros at being kind to our furry friends!

在他們還是嬰兒時期，我們總是希望他們趕快學會叫媽媽，時光匆匆，現在演變成一天可能喊個五十次吧。
親愛的媽媽們，看著孩子越長越大，當年躺在臂彎裡的他，現在已經揹著書包上學去、獨立完成許多事情，還會上台演出！不可思議的成長讓人又愛又鼻酸，小寶貝甚至還捧著花朵，說要將花送給你，然後告訴你｢媽媽，母親節快樂！｣
希望各位度過一個很棒的母親節，別忘了給對方一個擁抱喔！

Back when they were babies, we couldn't wait for them to finally say their first word: "Mama." Fast forward to today, and they probably say it fifty times a day!
Time truly flies. It feels like just yesterday they were cradled in our arms, and now, they’re carrying their own backpacks to school, doing things independently, and even performing on stage. Watching them grow is such a beautiful yet bittersweet journey.
Then comes that magical moment when they hold out a flower and say, "Mommy, Happy Mother's Day!"
Wishing all the wonderful moms out there a beautiful Mother's Day. Don't forget to give your little ones a big hug!

舞台燈光亮起，孩子們開啟了精彩的北美之旅！
加拿大站：我們看見了最勤勞的海狸在蓋水壩、威武的 Moose 與北極熊冰雕師，還有熱鬧的楓糖節！孩子們化身森林小動物，可愛度爆表。
美國站：小小發明家們登台囉！從萊特兄弟的飛機到愛迪生的燈泡，孩子們用英文自信地介紹改變世界的發明，連 Magic School Bus 都開進紅木森林了！
墨西哥站：充滿色彩的墨西哥慶典，孩子們大聲說出「Te amo Mama!」，那份熱情與純真，是今年最溫馨的亮點。
每一句台詞、每一個舞步，都是孩子們努力的成果。謝謝你們帶給我們這麼精彩的北美文化饗宴！

What a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day! Through our North American Adventure, our students didn't just practice English, they practiced courage, innovation, and gratitude.
Whether they were acting as Canadian moose, American scientists, or Mexican dancers, every word and every song was a gift for you. Hearing the children shout "Te Amo Mama!" was the perfect finale to this incredible journey.

Mother’s Day x North America Culture Day
今天，孩子們沉浸在北美文化的精彩體驗中，勇敢站上舞台，與家長們一同感受北美洲的多元魅力。
從加拿大的人文風情與壯麗自然、美國的多元文化與全球影響力，到墨西哥的熱情奔放與深厚歷史底蘊，孩子們透過舞台表演與遊戲探索，認識到三個彼此相鄰的國家，如何各自展現獨特樣貌。
校園裡的各個關卡，就像一場充滿驚喜的尋寶遊戲：In & Out美食體驗、恐龍考古探險、冰上曲棍球挑戰、馬雅文明探索……每完成一項任務，孩子們都收穫滿滿，最後還能親手拿到現做的美味塔可餅！
今天，你最喜歡、印象最深刻的是哪一個國家呢？🌎✨

Every year in late April, our grand celebration takes place. This year, our students immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of North American culture, stepping onto the stage to share its unique charm with their parents.
From the breathtaking landscapes of Canada, to the vibrant diversity of the United States, and the deep historical roots of Mexico, the children have learned that while these three neighbors share borders, they each possess a soul of their own.
After the final curtain call, the campus transformed into a giant scavenger hunt! From grabbing an "In-N-Out" burger and digging for dinosaur fossils to playing ice hockey and exploring Mayan ruins, every challenge earned them a sticker on their North American map. Once completed, a fresh, delicious taco was their well-earned reward!

世界上最棒的日子是今天嗎？因為是專屬孩子的節日欸！
幾週前，我們拿出三個購物車，放上三個特餐Menu，孩子依照自己的選擇投入自己的玩偶，最後我們在playground一起開票！而獲勝的雞肉起司可頌 + 南瓜濃湯就是今天的午餐。特別感謝主廚施展魔法，將所有的營養蔬菜悄悄藏進濃郁的湯頭裡，讓孩子們每一口都喝進了健康。
整個下午就是他們的戶外瘋狂泡泡派對，大泡泡、小泡泡，透過一絲陽光，泡泡五彩繽紛，快樂值一路攀升，最後壓軸，派出超強在地美食… 車輪餅！！！
當日現做的熱騰騰車輪餅，拿在手裡孩子們忍不住聞著袋子裡的奶香，還要忍著等一下才能吃，一定很辛苦吧。
孩子們似乎度過了很美好的一天，希望你們健康、快樂，每天都像兒童節唷！

We’ve been planning this for weeks! From a "Grocery Cart Vote" for their favorite lunch to a massive Outdoor Bubble Party this afternoon, the energy levels were off the charts!
The grand finale? The smell of warm, freshly baked Wheel Cakes filled the air. Some kids couldn't even wait to get home—that buttery scent is just too hard to resist!
Seeing those big smiles makes all the effort worth it. Keep shining, little ones!

今日下午，ESL小學部的爸爸媽媽走進校園，參與孩子們的北美洲文化學習！
看看北美洲的地圖，我們能認得多少國家呢？ESL的孩子們對於北美洲的國家可以說是瞭若指掌，他們帶領家長，從美國、加拿大一路玩到墨西哥。
孩子們的表現真的讓人驚艷：一年級在地圖前自信對決，二年級像專業研究員一樣在台上接受英文 Q&A，三年級則大方分享墨西哥與台灣的文化趣事。最可愛的莫過於「邊吃邊學」的環節，看到孩子們在品嚐玉米餅前，還不忘用英文描述口感，那種自然開口說英語的樣子，就是我們最想看到的畫面。
在這裡，孩子們勇於跨出舒適圈、探索世界。感謝每位家長的參與，讓我們一起見證孩子們自信發光的瞬間！

Our ESL halls were buzzing with excitement this week as Grade 1-3 students
led their parents on a global adventure for PTM!
In Grade 1, the USA came to life through high-energy games and regional
map challenges. Grade 2 took a deeper dive, impressing everyone with their
expert presentations on Canadian landmarks and wildlife—bravely handling
every parent's Q&A in fluent English! Meanwhile, Grade 3 hosted a vibrant
Mexico Travel Expo, where language learning met sensory fun during our
crunchy tortilla tasting and cultural comparisons.
It was more than just a presentation; it was a showcase of confidence,
curiosity, and the joy of speaking a new language. A heartfelt thank you to all
the families who joined us on this journey!

Galloping into a Wonderful New Term!
一早耳邊彷彿響起 William Tell Overture 的旋律
沒錯！我們把兩隻超級可愛的威爾斯小型馬帶進校園啦！
農曆春節後開學第一天，就用滿滿儀式感迎接孩子們回來
校門口有軟綿綿的獨角獸迎接大家，送上擁抱與 Lucky Token，祝福新學期有個好開始
接著，全校師生一起到操場迎接今天的主角——
🐴 咖啡色的 Punk
🐴 白色的 Captain
教練細心介紹馬匹的特性與安全互動方式，帶著孩子們學習刷毛、認識如何從牙齒觀察年齡、了解馬蹄修剪與馬鞍知識。
不只是孩子們驚呼連連，老師們也興奮不已——畢竟不是每天都能近距離接觸小馬呢！
最後的重頭戲是餵食時間
雖然一開始有點緊張，但每個孩子都鼓起勇氣，把紅蘿蔔穩穩地餵給 Punk 和 Captain，真的好棒！
用這樣特別又難忘的活動開啟新學期，彷彿解鎖了一個了不起的成就
相信接下來的每一天，都會是—

The William Tell Overture might as well have been playing as we welcomed two dapper miniature ponies, Punk and Captain, to school today! We even had a cuddly unicorn at the gates to greet everyone with hugs and tokens.
Our instructors taught the children (and our very excited teachers!) the finer points of equine care—from safe grooming to checking hooves and teeth. The highlight was certainly the carrot-feeding; though a few were hesitant at first, our brave students did a marvellous job!
Starting the term with such a special "achievement unlocked" feels like a sign of great things to come. Here’s to a term of galloping success and happiness for everyone!

年前，空中菜園熱鬧滾滾！寶貝們化身小農夫，與菜園裡的蘿蔔展開一場「體力大對決」。費了好大一番功夫，蘿蔔終於露臉啦！看著寶貝們很有成就感地提著戰利品，卻又一臉正經地疑惑著：「這是什麼東東？」的模樣，真的讓老師們忍不住笑翻。

這份辛勤勞動換來的好彩頭，帶回家後一定要好好品嚐。各位爸爸媽媽，孩子們過年點名吃了一道蘿蔔料理呢？

Recently, our little ones visited the rooftop garden for a "Radish Rescue!" After a spirited tug-of-war, seeing those radishes pop out of the soil gave them such a sense of achievement.
