Industry and Future Career Exploration Field Trip ✨✨

💡💡為拓展學生視野並深化生涯探索，學校日前帶領學生前往新竹進行產業與學習探索之旅。行程首站來到台積創新館（TSMC），透過專業導覽與互動展示，學生深入了解半導體產業的發展歷程、核心技術與未來趨勢，對台灣在全球科技產業中的關鍵角色有更深刻的認識。

接著參訪國立清華大學，實地走訪校園環境，認識大學課程特色與學習氛圍，協助學生連結未來升學方向。當天也前往新北客家園區，體驗傳統擂茶文化，從動手實作中感受客家文化的底蘊與精神。

本次活動結合科技、教育與文化，不僅內容豐富，也讓學生滿載而歸，收穫滿滿。

💡💡To broaden students’ perspectives and support career exploration, the school recently organized an educational field trip combining industry insight, university learning, and cultural experience.

The journey began at the TSMC Innovation Museum, where students learned about the development of the semiconductor industry, key technologies, and future trends through guided tours and interactive exhibits. This visit helped students better
understand Taiwan’s important role in the global technology sector.
The group then visited National Tsing Hua University, exploring the campus and learning about the university learning environment, academic programs, and future study pathways.

The trip concluded at the New Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park, where students participated in a hands-on Lei Cha (pounded tea) experience, gaining a deeper appreciation of Hakka culture and traditions.

Overall, the trip successfully integrated technology, education, and culture, providing students with a fulfilling and rewarding learning experience.

🌏🌏國際交流再添佳話！長崎日本大学高等学校於本週來訪臺北育達高中雙語部，展開一場充實而深具意義的交流活動。日本師長與學生在本校老師活動設計安排下，參與多項體驗課程，與本校學生進行面對面互動，從語言、文化到課堂活動，進行交流與相互學習。

活動中，育達高中特別準備具台灣特色的紀念品，贈送給日本來訪師生，象徵友誼與祝福。透過此次交流，兩校學生不僅增進了跨文化理解，也拓展了國際視野。整體活動圓滿成功，留下難忘而珍貴的回憶。

🌏🌏International exchange continues to flourish as Nagasaki Nichidai University High School visited the Bilingual Department of Taipei Kingston Private High School this week. The visit featured a series of meaningful interactions between teachers and students from both schools. The Japanese delegation participated in specially designed experiential classes and engaged in lively discussions and activities with our students, creating opportunities for cultural, linguistic, and academic exchange.

As a gesture of friendship, Kingston Private High School prepared Taiwan-themed souvenirs for the visiting teachers and students. The exchange not only strengthened mutual understanding but also broadened the students’ global perspectives. 這次活動讓學生有機會用英語進行真實交流，不僅提升語言自信，也增進跨文化理解。許多學生在分享後表示，透過與國外同齡朋友對話，讓他們對世界有了更深的連結與想像。未來學校也將持續推動國際合作，讓孩子們站上更寬廣的舞台。

To broaden students’ global perspectives, our school recently held an international video conference with Chapin School in the United States, with both junior and senior high school students participating. Through lively real-time interaction, students enthusiastically shared their school life, learning interests, and cultural differences.

The exchange offered an authentic opportunity for students to use English with confidence while deepening their understanding of different cultures. Many students expressed that talking with peers from abroad helped them feel more connected to the world. Our school will continue promoting international collaboration to open even wider horizons for our learners.

為了讓學生了解國際志工服務的意義與價值，學校特別邀請台中YMCA邱英智總幹事蒞校，舉辦「國際海外志工服務」專題講座。邱總幹事以豐富的海外經驗，分享志工服務的多樣形式與文化交流的深刻體驗，並鼓勵學生勇於走出舒適圈，親身參與海外志工計畫，從服務中學習責任與同理心。✨

透過本次講座，學生不僅認識到不同國家的社會文化，也啟發了關懷世界、服務人群的精神，為未來國際視野的培養奠定基礎。💪

To help students understand the meaning and value of international volunteer work, our school invited Mr. Chiu Ying-Chih, CEO of Taichung YMCA, to deliver a special lecture on “International Volunteer Service.” Drawing on his extensive overseas experience, Mr. Chiu shared inspiring stories about cultural exchange and the diverse forms of global volunteer work. He encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, take part in volunteer programs abroad, and cultivate empathy and responsibility through real-life service.

Through this lecture, students not only gained insights into different cultures but also developed a deeper sense of global awareness and compassion—laying a strong foundation for becoming caring, internationally minded citizens.

萬聖節這天的活動內容豐富又有趣：同學們各班準備「萬聖節闖關活動」，像是「打擊萬聖節」、「南瓜大轉盤」、「萬聖節牌卡」等有趣的小活動，順利關關就會換得糖果小禮物，現場笑聲與歡呼聲不斷，展現滿滿合作與節慶熱情！🎉 感謝各班同學與老師的熱情參與，讓校園洋溢在萬聖節的驚喜與快樂氛圍中！🕷️🕸️

To let students experience the festive atmosphere of a Western holiday and promote teamwork and interaction, our school held a lively Halloween event at noon on Friday, October 31st! ✨

The event was full of fun and excitement! Each class prepared its own Halloween challenge booth, featuring creative games such as “Halloween Strike,” “Pumpkin Spin,” and “Halloween Card Match.” Students who successfully completed the challenges received candy and small gifts. Laughter and cheers filled the hallways, showcasing the students’ teamwork and festive spirit! 🎉

📚We had the honor of inviting a college counselor from Olympic College (USA) to deliver an inspiring seminar on international higher education. During the session, the counselor introduced the U.S. university application process, academic programs, and campus culture, while offering practical advice on future study and career planning. Through vivid sharing and real-life examples, students gained a clearer understanding of studying abroad and developed a stronger sense of direction for their future.

🎈課堂上讓學生比較 ChatGPT、Gemini 和 Copilot 的回答，不僅能幫助他們了解不同 AI 的特點與語氣風格，也能訓練學生的批判思考與媒體素養。這樣的討論引導學生去思考幾個很關鍵的問題，例如：AI 的可信度：不同系統的答案是否一致？哪一個更有根據？AI 的立場與語氣：回答是否中立？有沒有偏見或過度簡化？AI 的限制：它們是否強調了使用者應保持判斷力、核實資訊？

🎈學生們比較並討論了這三個聊天機器人所提供的答案，觀察它們在觀點、語氣與重點上的差異。

Today students compared answers given by the 3 main chatbots: ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot. The question we asked the chatbots was: “What is the most important thing high school students should know when using AI?” Then they compared the chatbots’ answers.

游泳課程進入第二次上課，學生們在專業教練的細心指導下，逐步克服對水的恐懼，培養正確的游泳姿勢與安全觀念。課程中，教練透過分組練習與循序漸進的教學方式，讓學生們在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中學會控制呼吸、漂浮及踢水動作。不僅如此，游泳課也有效提升學生的體能與耐力，增進全身協調與肌肉力量。看著同學們從一開始的小心翼翼，到現在能自信地在水中前進，每位學生都展現出努力與成長。相信透過持續練習，大家都能在水中自在自如，享受運動的樂趣。

The swimming course has entered its second session, and under the professional guidance of the coach, students are gradually overcoming their fear of water while learning proper swimming techniques and safety awareness. Through group practice and step-by-step instruction, students are mastering essential skills such as breathing control, floating, and kicking in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The lessons not only strengthen students’ physical fitness and endurance but also improve coordination and muscle power. From being cautious at first to swimming confidently now, every student shows visible progress and determination. With continuous practice, they will soon be able to move freely in the water and truly enjoy the joy of swimming.

Animal Protection Awareness Lecture🎪🎪

🧸本校邀請「台灣黑熊保育協會﹞蒞校分享，帶領同學們認識世界八大熊與台灣黑熊的生態習性、現況與保育方式。講師以熱情生動的演說，讓同學們更深入了解台灣黑熊的生存困境，也激發大家守護野生動物的責任感。這場活動不僅增長知識，更培養了保育意識，期盼同學們能將愛護動物的精神延續下去，為守護自然生態盡一份心力。

🧸We invited the Taiwan Black Bear Conservation Association to share with students about the world’s eight bear species, the ecology and habits of the Formosan black bear, its current survival status, and conservation methods. With a passionate and inspiring talk, the speaker helped students gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by Taiwan’s black bear and encouraged a sense of responsibility in protecting wildlife. This event not only enriched students’ knowledge but also strengthened their awareness of conservation, inspiring them to carry forward the spirit of caring for animals and preserving nature.
