💻我們忠孝國小在三月初，
和兩所南非的姊妹校進行視訊交流。
每間學校的學生派出代表，
進行自我介紹以及介紹家鄉的文化
接著進行水資源的相關議題的探討，
像是土石流、水汙染、水災以及旱災。
這是讓不同國度的學生彼此交流學習，
讓對方了解當地遇到的水資源問題，
也認識保存水資源💧的重要性。

期待下一次的視訊交流活動。🟡
We had our first online meeting with two schools from South Africa.
Each school could introduce their culture or something interesting from themselves or their country.
Afterward, some students presented issues we are experiencing with water, topics ranging from landslides, pollution, flooding, and drought.
It is a great experience for students to learn about other nationalities and cultures.
Also creating awareness about the importance of water conservation.
Thank you to all, it was a wonderful experience.
Looking forward to our next meeting.

📬The grade 6 students took part in a postcard exchange project with a school from South Africa. We send our postcards to South Africa but due to COVID restrictions, we could not receive the postcards from our South-African penpals. However, we learned a lot from both countries and the school environments.
日前六年級的同學參與跨國交換明信片活動，與南非的學校進行交流，我們已將明信片寄往南非，只是礙於COVID-19的關係，我們無法從南非的學校收到明信片；即便如此，我們還是從這項活動，學到許多關於國家文化的知識。✈️

Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky.
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon tree. 🍋🌳

Paul老師這學期教唱這首琅琅上口的英文歌曲 《Lemon Tree》，六年級的同學剛開始聽了幾遍後都能哼唱幾句，接下來Paul老師帶著大家不斷地練習整首歌曲，再搭配上一些可愛的舞蹈動作，讓表演更加完整，大家都表現得很棒!!

Doctor visit

Over a few weeks, we taught the students different types of medical equipment, symptoms, and relevant treatment. We then practiced it and finally recorded it without a script in the nurse's office. Great experience for the students and myself. I am very proud of them.

這幾週以來，我們教了學生們不同類型的醫療設備、症狀以及相關的治療方法。透過不斷地練習角色扮演的對話，使同學不用看稿子也能進行對話，最後讓學生們在保健室進行影片拍攝。對學生和我來說，這是一個非常棒的經驗，我為他們感到驕傲。👍👍👍

Rugby is a very popular sport in many countries across the globe.
帶式橄欖球在許多國家中，是一項非常盛行的運動。
Recently the rugby world cup was held in Japan 2019, where South-Africa became the world champions.
最近的一次帶式橄欖球世界盃於2019年在日本舉辦，由南非拿到冠軍。
Rugby is more than a sport but it teaches kids, teamwork, respect, and discipline while having fun.
帶式橄欖球除了是一項帶來樂趣的運動之外，更可以教育孩子們團隊合作、尊重、紀律。
It promotes hand and eye coordination.
這項運動可以增強手部和眼部的協調能力。
Chung Hsiao Elementary School is the only school in Pingtung County that coaches 屏東縣忠孝國小是全屏東唯一有帶式橄欖球課程的學校。
Rugby. Rugby is becoming more popular in Asia and it has the possibility to provide successful players with a great financial future by getting opportunities to play rugby in Canada, America, England, Australia, New-Zealand, South-Africa and Japan.
帶式橄欖球在亞洲變得越來越受歡迎，這項運動也可以讓優秀的球員，與加拿大、美國、英國、澳洲、紐西蘭、南非和日本等國隊伍一同較勁，並為球員和球隊帶來巨大的商業利益。
We first taught about the history of rugby and the connection Taiwan has to the sport. 首先我們告訴學生們關於帶式橄欖球在世界和台灣參賽的歷史。
Basic vocabulary, dialogue, phrases, and rules were then taught.
讓學生先學習基本的單字、術語、動作和規則。
Basic passing, communication, and running got practiced.
基本的傳球運用和跑步練習。
Then we started to play tag first and progress to playing tag rugby.
於是我們開始第一次的撕標籤練習和後續的比賽練習。
The kids' abilities developed very quickly and they love it.
孩子們進步的非常快也相當熱愛這項運動。
We are looking forward to growing our rugby tradition at the school and will participate in future competitions against other schools in Taiwan.
我們期待這項運動可以繼續發展，成為我們忠孝國小的特色，並能夠組隊與其他學校競賽

國際教育---忠孝國小足球俱樂部
We taught students the rules of the sport. 我們告訴學生關於足球的規則。
Introduced countries who are great at playing soccer. Soccer celebreties were introduced.
介紹世界上厲害的足球隊伍和足球明星。
We taught them all the different types of kicks and the required sporting gear to play soccer. 指導他們踢足球所需的裝備及各種技巧。
We then started with basic skills to improve their abilities and to promote teamwork and communication in English.
我們從最基礎的踢球練習和英語教學，來增強學生們的英語溝通力和團隊默契。
After this, we played soccer matches.經過練習後，開始分組比賽。
Lastly, we played BINGO to review all the rules, kicks, gear, dialogue, countries, and sports stars.
最後回到教室內，運用” BINGO”遊戲複習足球規則、踢球技巧、裝備、足球術語、國家以及足球明星。
At Chung Hsiao we teach English by integrating science, mathematics, sport, culture, and real-life scenarios such as doctor visits, traveling, and order food at a restaurant.
忠孝國小在推動國際教育上，不僅結合了科學、數學、運動等學科，也結合看醫生、旅行、餐廳點餐等日常情境。
