KOTA KINABALU: Five universities from Taiwan have signed an MoU with four Sabah tourism associations to collaborate on agro- and community-based tourism initiatives.

The ceremony was witnessed by Assistant Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai here on Wednesday.

Sabah's signatories included tourism associations from Kiulu, Tambunan, Tenom, and Kota Belud, while Taiwanese institutions included Dayeh University and the Taiwan Agro and Rural Tourism Association.

The Nan Kai University of Technology (NKUT) participated in the 2nd Overseas Chinese Student Orientation Event in the Philippines from January 17 to 19 2025, where we showcased our programs and engaged with prospective students.
