⚾🏆National Runner-Up Glory! Tongxiao Girls Baseball Team Honored at Miaoli County Government✨👏

The girls’ baseball team from Tongxiao Elementary School fought bravely through the 114 National Elementary School Baseball League Girls’ Softball Division and proudly won National Runner-Up! 🏆🥈⚾

Today, the team brought this honor to the Miaoli County Government Outstanding Sports Team Recognition Ceremony, where they were personally welcomed and encouraged by the county magistrate 👏🎉
This achievement is not only about winning a trophy, but also the result of countless hours of practice, determination, and never giving up! 💖

走讀苗栗書活愛閱，行動書車「閱讀移動城堡」5月27日來到 通霄國小🚍🚍！在風光明媚的校園裡，書車陳設舒適閱讀區、多樣繪本展架，並備有適齡書目、繪本推薦清單與延伸素材。書車穿梭如同森林中的小精靈，將一本本好書帶到孩子身邊。📖

🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫書車老師以活潑有趣的繪本故事帶動現場氣氛，與孩子們熱情互動，笑聲不斷，特別是孩子回饋的言語，真的很有趣，讓閱讀變得更加生動🍀🍀。
看著孩子們專注聽故事、開心挑書閱讀的模樣，臉上滿是純真的笑容。有的迫不及待分享剛讀完的故事給老師聽，那份喜悅與投入，真的讓人感動又開心。

🍎The Reading Castle Arrived at Tongxiao Elementary!📚

On May 27, the mobile library “Reading Castle” visited 通霄國民小學 🚍✨
The sunny campus was filled with stories, laughter, and the joy of reading!

The book truck brought cozy reading spaces, picture books, recommended reading lists, and many wonderful stories for children to explore. Like little forest elves, the books came right beside the students and made reading more fun and exciting📖🍀

During the activity, the storytelling teacher used lively and interactive ways to share picture books with the children. The students listened carefully, laughed happily, and eagerly shared their favorite stories with teachers and friends🥰

Special thanks to the teachers and students of Classes 2-1 and 2-2 for supporting this meaningful reading activity❤️

We have some exciting news to share!
The Tongxiao Elementary School Baseball Team proudly represented our school in the Miaoli County 115th County Magistrate Cup Level-4 Baseball Championship and fought their way to win the Hardball Division Championship! 🥇⚾

In today’s game, our players truly gave it their all!

Every player showed the results of their hard training, delivering an outstanding performance on the field!

A special highlight was today’s pitcher, who performed brilliantly on the mound:
🔥 Multiple impressive three-up, three-down innings
🔥 Completely shutting down the opponent’s offense

The entire field cheered for the incredible performance of our Tongxiao players! 👏👏

Watching the children focus, compete, and give their best on the field was truly moving.
These young athletes who love baseball ⚾ are not afraid of hard work, dirt, or challenges. Every swing and every dive represents their effort toward their dreams and their determination to shine on the field! ✨

今天，通霄國小的孩子們受邀參加台電通霄發電廠辦理的「2026魚苗放流活動」，在海風吹拂的港邊，親手將一桶桶魚苗送回大海。

這不只是一場戶外活動，更是一堂真實的 SDGs 生命教育課。

在通霄國小12年國教校訂課程中，「保護海洋與海洋資源」、「維護生物多樣性」一直是孩子們重要的學習內容。今天，孩子們把平常在教室裡學到的知識，真正落實在生活體驗中；從看見海洋、親近海洋，到親手為海洋生態盡一份心力。

坐而言，不如起而行。
做中學，孩子最有感。

看著孩子們小心翼翼地倒出魚苗，也看見他們眼中對生命的珍惜與好奇。這樣的學習，會留在記憶裡，也會慢慢長成對土地、對海洋、對世界更深的責任感。

Today, students from Tongxiao Elementary School were invited by Taipower Tongxiao Power Plant to join the “2026 Fish Fry Release Activity.”

By releasing young fish into the sea, our students turned classroom learning into real-life action.

In our school-based SDGs curriculum, protecting marine resources and preserving biodiversity are important learning goals. Today’s activity helped students understand that caring for the ocean is not just knowledge from books, but something they can truly take part in.

Learning by doing makes education more meaningful.

We sincerely thank Taipower Tongxiao Power Plant for giving our students this special and valuable learning opportunity. Through local action, our children learned that they can also make a positive impact on the world.

It was a successful and unforgettable day of learning.

📚一步一腳印！努力，就是最棒的榮耀！

115年文狀元選拔競賽於4月29日在苗栗縣立巨蛋體育館熱鬧登場，共有644位學生同場切磋，分為國小五、六年級及國中七、八年級組，競爭相當激烈！

在這場高手雲集的比賽中，恭喜本校五年四班蘇鈺芸同學，憑著平時一步一步累積的努力與堅持，榮獲五年級組「進士獎」👏👏，其他同學雖然本次創作內容未獲青睞，小小可惜，但孩子願意勇敢挑戰、自我突破，就是最珍貴的收穫！

每一次上台比賽，都是成長的機會；每一次認真準備，都是累積未來實力的開始。相信這份努力與不放棄的精神，會陪著孩子越走越遠！

📚Every Effort Matters!

The 115th Wen Zhuangyuan Competition was held on April 29 at Miaoli County Giant Dome Gymnasium, with 644 students participating in different grade groups.

Congratulations to Su Yu-Yun from Class 5-4 of Tongxiao Elementary School for winning the “Jinshi Award” in the 5th-grade division! 👏

Although other students were a little regret in not reaching a higher award, their hard work, courage, and dedication are already something to be proud of!

Special thanks to Director Cheng Yue-Lian, Teacher Luo Yan-Ling, and all supporting homeroom teachers for their caring guidance and encouragement. ❤️

Tongxiao Elementary School will continue supporting every child to bravely learn, challenge themselves, and shine brightly! ✨

🏃‍♀️ 雖然最後沒有進入冠亞軍戰，但孩子們沒有因此氣餒，每一場比賽都全力以赴、彼此鼓勵。
最讓人敬佩的是整支隊伍只有10位小朋友！

🤝 在球場上，她們互相提醒、互相補位，每個人的心就像一個緊緊相扣的圓環，一起守住每一次攻防、一起為每一分努力！

🥎🔥10 Players, One Team — Tongsiao Girls Win National Bronze! 🔥🥎

☀️ Running under the blazing sun and giving their all on the field!
The girls from Tongsiao Elementary School’s softball team traveled to Kaohsiung to compete in the 114th Academic Year National Elementary School Girls’ Softball League. After six intense days of competition, the players fought hard in every game and never gave up. Their determination was truly inspiring! 💪

🏃‍♀️ Although they didn’t advance to the championship match, the girls never lost heart. They supported one another and gave their best effort in every inning.
What makes this achievement even more impressive is that the team had only 10 players!

🤝 On the field, they reminded and supported each other, covering every position with teamwork and trust. Their hearts were connected like a strong circle, defending every play and fighting for every point together.

🥉 Because of their team spirit and never-give-up attitude, the Tongsiao girls proudly brought home 3rd place in the national competition!
What an incredible achievement! 👏👏👏

🌈 The sweat and effort from these six days will surely become precious memories for the students.
This competition was not just about winning or losing—it was about learning courage, perseverance, and teamwork.

The Tongxiao Elementary School Baseball & Softball Team proudly represented the school in the Miaoli County 2026 County Magistrate Cup Tee-ball Championship, achieving an outstanding result of two championships and one third place! 👏👏

Over two consecutive days of competition, under the blazing summer sun ☀️,
the children played two games each day. Despite the heat and fatigue, they continued to give their very best on the field 💪

They fought hard to defend every ball ⚾️
and focused on every swing at bat 🔥
showing the true spirit of Tongxiao players — never giving up and never backing down!

Although the children usually train in baseball and softball, this tee-ball tournament gave them the opportunity to experience a different sport, learn new rules and game strategies, and most importantly build confidence while gaining valuable competition experience ✨
