On Day 3, we headed to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport for the final mission of our Winter Camp! While exploring and sharing the beauty of Taiwan, our young reporters stepped out of their comfort zones and had real conversations with international travelers. 🌍🗣️

But that’s not all! Beyond interviews, our students warmly offered help, giving directions and guiding visitors around the airport with confidence and big smiles. Their kindness and hospitality truly shone!

With everything going smoothly, our Winter Vacation Camp has officially wrapped up successfully! Let’s give a huge round of applause to these amazing young reporters for their strong English skills and outstanding international etiquette! 👏🎉🌟

When it comes to the Lunar New Year, one tradition you can’t miss is posting Spring Couplets. But did you know that some Spring Couplets feature creatively combined characters, where multiple meanings are cleverly woven into a single word? 🤔

Students explored the history and symbolism behind Spring Couplets and then put their learning into action by designing and creating their own. These handmade couplets will become meaningful cultural souvenirs to share with our international interviewees tomorrow, carrying both tradition and heartfelt wishes. 🌏❤️

Cold weather is the perfect excuse to get up and move!
On the morning of Day 2, our bilingual PE teachers introduced students to a unique sport, Cochonnet, a key element of the French game pétanque. 🇫🇷

From learning the basic principles and game rules to jumping into team competitions, students were fully engaged. The matches were intense, exciting, and full of energy! 🔥🏆

In the afternoon, our Home Economics teacher guided students in creating handmade felt keychains for their international interviewees.

Each keychain featured auspicious wishes such as good fortune, happiness, peace, and blessings, symbols of the warm greetings shared during the Chinese New Year. 🧧

Students not only poured their creativity and care into each piece, but also learned how to introduce these New Year blessings in English. This meaningful activity added cultural depth and heartfelt stories to their future interviews.

On the morning of our first day, we were honored to have our Director of Academic Affairs give an opening speech to kick off the camp.

After that, our Performing Arts and English teachers led fun ice-breaking activities to help students get comfortable and confident.

The day continued with a full series of interview training sessions, covering everything from speaking manners and language skills to hands-on video recording practice. A busy, inspiring, and exciting start to our journey as young reporters!

🎉 Our Winter Vacation Camp Has Officially Begun! 🎉

The winter camp officially kicks off today!
In this exciting program, our goal is to train participating students to become young news anchors and reporters. 🎙️

Throughout the camp, students will learn how to speak with confidence, ask sharp questions, and report real stories. On the final day, we’ll even take them to the airport for a real-life interview experience! ✈️

Students had a blast playing English Snakes and Ladders and the Scrabble board game. They practiced vocabulary, spelling, and speaking while moving around the board and guessing fun sketches. Learning English has never been this exciting and full of laughter!
