📣 Theme: In My Next Life…

If there is a next life,
would you still choose the same job…
or would you rather be a cat?

If you could live life again,
would you change your career, move to another city,
or just be a slightly braver version of yourself?

At our March 24 meeting, we’ll explore the theme “In My Next Life.”
Through stories, laughter, and reflections,
we’ll talk about the things we always say we’ll do “in the next life” —
and maybe realize some of them can start in this one.

You don’t need perfect English.
You don’t need to be a great speaker.
Just come, listen, speak a little, and meet some friendly people.

【2025.12.23】Regular Meeting : Best Wishes

What a wonderful and joyful night at Linkou Toastmasters on Dec. 22! The room was full of laughter, cheers, and so many 'wow' moments.
It was so inspiring to see everyone learning together and reaching new breakthroughs. Thank you all for making this year at our club so special and meaningful. Let’s keep growing and make 2026 even better together! Happy Holidays!

有人問我：「Toastmasters 是什麼？」
以前我說不出來，只知道來這裡總是充電又溫暖。

這次幹部訓練，我終於聽到一個超精準的解釋：
👉「這是一個【先幫助自己成長，再與一群人一起成長】的地方。」

讓我終於明白！這就是讓我在離開五年後，又回到林口英語演講會的理由🌟

這次回歸，我接下林口英語演講會的公關副會長，希望把這份感動，分享給更多人：

At every regular meeting, besides our main sessions — 2 to 3 speeches, evaluation sessions (where we give feedback on speeches), fun variety sessions, and the exciting Table Topics (impromptu speaking) — we also choose a theme for the night and invite everyone to share their thoughts.

Our world wasn’t peaceful recently; the Ukrainian-Russian War has been going on for 3 years, and the Middle East is in chaos, too. There is no winner in every war, and nations are always losers.
