#2026芝加哥英語營成果發表會
四天的相遇，一輩子的感動 ❤️
「因為颱風，我們少了一天的相聚；但因為彼此，我們收穫了更多的感動。」
原訂五天的美中地區芝加哥海外青年文化大使英語營，因受到颱風影響，不得不提前一天結束。雖然少了一天的課程，卻沒有減少孩子們學習的熱情，更沒有沖淡這段跨越太平洋的珍貴情誼。
在成果發表會的舞臺上，我們看見了四天努力最美麗的成果。
每一位孩子帶著自信走上舞臺，用英文介紹自己的學習成果，勇敢發表、自在表達，臉上洋溢著燦爛的笑容。那份從容與自信，不只是英語能力的展現，更是四天沉浸式學習最珍貴的收穫。
今年營隊以美國各城市文化為主題，孩子們分組完成精彩的成果發表，從Chicago、New York、Los Angeles、Houston等城市介紹，到創意表演、舞蹈演出、溜溜球表演，以及營隊歌曲《One Thing》、《From the Start》、《OMG》等節目，每一場演出都贏得滿場掌聲。
舞臺上的每一位孩子，都散發著屬於自己的光芒。
從第一天靦腆害羞，不敢開口說英文，到今天能夠大方站上舞臺侃侃而談，我們看見的不只是英文能力的進步，更看見孩子勇敢突破自己、相信自己的成長歷程。
❤️ 教育最感動的時刻，就是孩子因為學習而發光。
成果發表會上，也特別舉行感謝狀、感謝牌及結業證書頒發儀式。
誠摯感謝僑務委員會顧問胡玲玲導師，四年來持續帶領芝加哥FASCA青年文化大使回到臺灣，以服務精神陪伴銘傳學子，讓國際教育在校園深耕，也讓世界與銘傳更加靠近。
同時，也感謝九位來自芝加哥的FASCA青年文化大使，用青春、熱情與專業陪伴孩子度過充滿歡笑的四天。你們帶來的不只是英文，而是勇氣、自信、包容與國際視野。
更感謝百忙之中特地蒞臨成果發表會的各位長官、貴賓、家長及所有支持教育的夥伴。因為有您們的鼓勵與掌聲，讓孩子更勇敢站上舞臺，留下人生中難忘的一頁。
每一次掌聲，都是對孩子最大的肯定；每一個笑容，都是這四天最美的答案。
雖然颱風讓營隊縮短了一天，但孩子們的收穫沒有打折，友誼沒有縮短，感動更沒有減少。
相信這四天的相遇，將成為孩子心中最珍貴的回憶，也將化為他們未來勇敢走向世界的力量。
最後，再次感謝所有促成這場國際交流的夥伴，因為有您們的付出，讓銘傳國中的孩子看見更寬廣的世界，也讓世界看見銘傳。

Four Days Together, Memories for a Lifetime ❤️
“Although Typhoon shortened our camp by one day, it could never lessen the joy, friendship, or learning we shared.”
The 2026 Ming Chuan Junior High School × FASCA Chicago English Camp, originally planned as a five-day program, concluded one day earlier due to the approaching typhoon.
While we were unable to complete the final day as scheduled, the enthusiasm of our students never faded, and the friendships built throughout the camp only grew stronger.
At the Camp Presentation and Closing Ceremony, we witnessed the most meaningful outcome of these four unforgettable days.
One by one, our students confidently stepped onto the stage to present their projects in English. With bright smiles and confident voices, they shared everything they had learned with pride.
Their confidence was more than a demonstration of English ability—it reflected the remarkable growth they experienced through four days of immersive learning, teamwork, and cultural exchange.
Throughout the camp, students explored different American cities and cultures. During the presentation, each group proudly introduced Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Houston, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and communication skills.
The audience also enjoyed wonderful performances, including dances, a yo-yo performance, and musical presentations featuring songs such as “One Thing,” “From the Start,” and “OMG.” Every performance was filled with energy, confidence, and joyful smiles, earning enthusiastic applause from everyone in attendance.
Each student truly shined on stage.
Watching students transform from shy learners on the first day into confident presenters was one of the most rewarding moments of the entire camp.
Their growth reminded us that education is not only about learning a language—it is about discovering confidence, embracing challenges, and believing in one’s own potential.
❤️ The greatest achievement of education is seeing children shine because they believe in themselves.
During the Closing Ceremony, certificates of completion and appreciation were presented to recognize the dedication and contributions of everyone who made this camp possible.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Ms. Ling-Ling Hu, Consultant of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), whose unwavering support over the past four years has made this meaningful partnership possible. Through her vision and dedication, students at Ming Chuan have been given invaluable opportunities to connect with the world through authentic international learning experiences.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the nine FASCA Youth Cultural Ambassadors from Chicago, who generously devoted their summer to serving in Taiwan.
You brought much more than English lessons.
You shared your kindness, enthusiasm, encouragement, and friendship, inspiring every student to dream bigger and reach further.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all the distinguished guests, educational leaders, parents, and supporters who joined us at the Closing Ceremony.
Your presence, encouragement, and warm applause gave our students even greater confidence as they stood proudly on the stage.
Every round of applause became a powerful source of encouragement.
Every smile became the most beautiful reflection of what these four days truly meant.
Although the typhoon shortened our journey, it could never shorten the friendships we built, the knowledge we gained, or the unforgettable memories we created together.
These four days will remain in our students’ hearts as a treasured memory and a meaningful first step toward becoming confident global citizens.
Finally, we thank everyone who helped make this international exchange possible.
Because of your generosity and dedication, our students were able to see a bigger world—and the world had the opportunity to see Ming Chuan.
Four days may seem short, but the memories will last a lifetime.
This is not the end of our story—it is another beautiful beginning. We look forward to seeing you again next year! ❤️
