I want to share with you Serena's success.
Serena is a very successful English language learner.
While she was in the first grade of elementary school, she successfully passed a number of certified tests and accumulated the following accolades:
1) "GEPT Intermediate Test" = Senior High School English Level
2) 'Cambridge English Preliminary Test (PET) = CEFR European Common Language Architecture - Independent Level - Intermediate
Serena is an extremely self-disciplined student. She previews the content of the lesson before class and takes the initiative to ask questions and debate in class. Her teacher is often wonderfully surprised that a second grader can ask so many inquisitive questions and debate so well.
Serena is a very diligent student and spends much time preparing for the requirements of a particular exam. For example, 100 words are required for the composition component of the PET exam, Serena can consistently submit 4 high quality compositions a week.
In addition, Serena spends a lot of her free time reading topics of special interests to her, such as learning about the Great Wars, general history, and Greek Mythology.
Remark: extracurricular reading helps her build a sound foundation for her English language learning and cognitive thinking.
When asked what tips Serena herself has to for fellow students preparing for English exams, she replied, "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy!'
