Dear members and friends,
💎Aging is a journey we experience every single day. Since we are all younger today than we will be tomorrow, let’s cherish every moment we have.
💎Contest season is just around the corner! To help our contestants shine brilliantly on stage, we are honored to welcome our Speech King & Queen Maker—the trainer , Jean Chow—who will guide us on how to prepare for the International Speech Contest with a BIG BANG.
💎Meanwhile, at the upcoming meeting, our seasoned member Kathy will deliver her Level 2 Project 3 speech, completing her Level 2 journey. In addition, one of the finest speakers in Division I, Debbie Chuang, will impress us with her Level 5 Project 1 speech, title”Rose, Rose, Rose, Rose.” I can’t wait to listen and learn from these two outstanding speakers.
💎Alongside our workshop and prepared speeches, Sherly Chang will serve as our Table Topics Master, leading us on a thoughtful and inspiring journey through the theme of “Aging.”

Dear Members and Friends,

How would you define “family”?
Last Saturday, our VPE, Wayne, reached a beautiful milestone—he got married and started a new family of his own. To me, family is like our roots. It is where we receive nourishment, grow, and lift each other up.

In the same way, Toastmasters is like a BIG FAMILY. It offers us sunlight (leadership), air (communication), and water (public speaking skills), helping every member grow into a confident communicator and leader. So please don’t miss the opportunity to join each meeting and take part in the activities Toastmasters prepares for you.

At the upcoming ETC meeting this Friday night, we will have three talented speakers.
• Our first speaker, Maya, will deliver her icebreaker—a wonderful chance for us to get to know her better.
• Our second speaker, Abby, the youngest and loveliest girl in our club, will present her second speech at ETC.
• Our third speaker, Sherly, will challenge herself with her very first long speech as a professional speaker.

Throughout their speaking journeys, let’s act not only as listeners but also as cheerleaders, supporting and encouraging them every step of the way.

In addition, we will hold a New Member Induction Ceremony to warmly welcome our newest members and show our full support as they begin their Toastmasters journey with ETC.

Dear Fellows and ETC Friends,

I hope you’ve fully recharged after the Double Tenth Day holiday!

At our upcoming meeting, I’m delighted to introduce two distinguished speakers — Martin Wang and Doris Liu — who are ready to share their inspiring stories.

Have you ever experienced “déjà vu”? What exactly is “déjà vu”? Our first speaker, Martin, will explore this intriguing topic and share his insights.

We often wish for a second chance when things don’t go our way the first time. Our second speaker, Doris, will take us on her journey of “Second Chance” and what it truly means to her. Come to the ETC meeting to find out!

In addition to the prepared speeches, we’ve specially arranged a fun and thought-provoking activity — Jeopardy, hosted by Sherly Chang. If you’re curious about how this game works, you definitely shouldn’t miss this Friday night’s meeting!

Now it’s time to elevate your wisdom with all.
💎The 1st meeting in the year of Snake will be taking place with KMUB club at the same venue and time.
There will be 3 professional speakers in the meeting. The winners of ETC in-club contest, Martin & Wayne, will rehearse their contest speeches; the 3rd speaker , Jazlyn Shum from KMUB , will tell us “how to be the best boyfriend.”
Besides that our 3 outstanding speakers, there is one Round Robin Evaluation session to evaluate any speaker that members want to give personal feedback, it’s interesting , right?
