雙語重點特色學校
就讀鹽埕 多元展能 鹽埕國小是日據時代堀江小學，全數為日籍學童，並以櫻花為帽徽，光復後，陳意先生被派任為高雄市鹽埕示範國民學校長，他意識到臺灣已回到祖國懷抱，梅花才是我國國花，因而將帽徽由櫻花改為梅花，再加上「鹽埕」兩字，表示它是當年繁華鹽埕區的精華標幟，亦就是鹽埕國小的校徽
