The School is working relentlessly in meeting up the demand of both civil and army students. It was established in 1963 and got its approval from the Government in 1967. It was acquired in 1976 by Cantonment Board. The entire area covers 2.97 acres of land including an `L’ Shaped building with an wide open play ground clustered around with many tall trees which presents a fascinating natural setup
. The infrastructure construction of this institution covering an area of 0.35 acres of land provides 54 rooms including 40 classrooms. The motto of this institution is “Knowledge is power” means to ensure both academic education and co-curricular activities in a congenial atmosphere for each and every student with a view to building him/her up conscious and dutiful, sincere and philanthropic, above all, a good citizen so that we, the Bangladeshis, can stand upright in honour and dignity amongst the nations of the world as a new but promising nation.
