TALD 成立於2005年三月的台灣學障學會(TALD)，係由一群長久以來致力於學習障礙研究的專家學者所組成，以促進學習障礙研究、教育和福祉發展為宗旨，期望透過學者、醫師及第一線臨床工作人員的理念凝聚，共同推展學習障礙的研究、診斷與教育等工作，進而推動相關政策之擬定。
