畢業季又到了！畢業典禮最經典的畫面，絕對是「撥穗」的瞬間！🎓但你知道為什麼要把流蘇從右邊撥到左邊嗎？這個動作其實帶著滿滿祝福寓意！

🎓 Why Do We Turn the Tassel?
Have you ever wondered why graduates move their tassels from the right to the left? This iconic ritual actually dates back to old European university traditions and carries a beautiful metaphor.

The tassel on a graduate’s cap is said to resemble an ear of wheat, symbolizing growth and maturity. Moving the tassel from right to left represents the completion of rigorous academic training and the moment students are ready to reap the rewards of their hard work. It marks the transition from student to graduate and the beginning of a new chapter in life.

🌸 康乃馨背後的浪漫與堅韌

提到母親節，腦海中第一個浮現的畫面肯定就是康乃馨。
但在送出這束花之前，你是否聽過它的名字由來呢？在植物學中，康乃馨被稱為 Carnation，其拉丁學名 Dianthus caryophyllus 更有著「天神之花」（Flower of the Gods）的浪漫意涵。這份優雅的名字背後，其實承載著一段關於母愛與勇氣的真實故事，也正是因為這段往事，才讓這朵花成為了永恆的象徵：

📜 The Secret of Carnations: A Daughter’s Tribute

The tradition traces back to a story of incredible resilience. In the mid-1800s, Ann Reeves Jarvis lost 8 of her 11 children due to poor health conditions. Instead of letting grief consume her, she spent her life fighting for better public health and supporting mothers in need.

After her passing, her daughter Anna Jarvis campaigned to establish a day honoring all mothers, leading to the official establishment of Mother‘s Day in 1914.

Anna chose white carnations—her mother’s favorite flower—to represent the purity and strength of a mother’s love. Over time, this evolved into a beautiful tradition:

• ❤️ Red Carnations: To celebrate and honor the mothers who are with us.
• 🤍 White Carnations: To remember and pay tribute to those who have passed.

So, when you hold these flowers today, remember they represent more than just a gift—they are a symbol of a mother‘s unbreakable spirit. ✨
