當你想知道某家店「有沒有賣某種甜點」時，可以這樣說：

Do you serve [dessert name] here?

1. Lemon Tart 🍋 檸檬塔
清爽酸甜，是老師私心最愛！

【易混淆字 Close vs. Closed ｜ 別再傻傻分不清楚！】
「這家店到底開了沒？」 🏪
明明長得這麼像，為什麼有時候要加 -d，有時候又不用？
今天老師用 1 分鐘，帶你徹底搞定這對孿生兄弟！

💡 快速區分法
• Close (形容詞/動詞)：強調「距離近」或是「關門的動作」。
• Closed (形容詞)：強調「狀態」，表示門已經關上了、沒營業。

🏠 情境生活小練習
📍 情境 A：去商店買東西卻撲空
• ❌ Don't say: The door is close. (這會變成：這扇門離你很近 🚶‍♂️門)
• ✅ Say: The store is closed. (這才代表：這家店關門休息中 🔒)
📍 情境 B：提醒朋友保持距離
• ✅ Say: Don't stand so close to me! (別站得離我這麼近！👋)

🎓 老師的小撇步
看到店門口掛著的牌子寫 "CLOSED"，那個 -d 就像是一把 鎖，代表門已經「被關好了」，這樣記最快！

遊樂園裡的設施是 "facility" 嗎？🤔🤔🤔

相信各位同學都有去遊樂園玩過的經驗吧？🎢

老師在批改作文時發現一個有趣的現象：
當大家想表達「遊樂設施」時，往往會下意識地寫成 "facility"。
雖然文法沒有錯，但在英文母語人士聽起來，"facility" 比較像是在形容「公共設施」或「硬體設備」（比如：體育館的 fitness facilities 健身設施）。
在遊樂園裡，我們更常說的是：✨ Rides ✨！
下次寫作文時，試著把具體的設施名稱寫出來，讀者才感受得到你當時尖叫的震撼喔！

大家好～最近有在注意關於 非洲豬瘟 (African Swine Fever) 的新聞嗎？
這是一種 豬隻的傳染病 (an infectious disease in pigs)，致死率非常高 (with a very high fatality rate)。
雖然 目前不會傳染給人類 (it doesn’t spread to humans)，但為了 保護豬隻 (protect pigs) 和 守護食安 (protect our food safety)，大家還是要了解一些常見的 防疫措施 (disease prevention measures)！

🔹 arise (v.) 出現、產生（正式用語，不及物）
三態：arise – arose – arisen

🔹 rise (v.) 上升、升起（不及物，自己升）
三態：rise – rose – risen
1️⃣ 上升、升起
　例：The sun rises in the east. 🌅
2️⃣ (抽象) 增加
　例：The temperature rose quickly. 🌡️
👉 rise 不需要受詞。

🔹 raise (v.) 舉起、抬起、提高；養育；募款；飼養（及物，需要受詞）
三態：raise – raised – raised
1️⃣ 舉起、抬起、提高 → She raised her hand to ask a question. ✋
2️⃣ 養育 → She raised three children on her own. 👩‍👧‍👦
3️⃣ 飼養 → The farmer raises chickens. 🐔
4️⃣ 募款 → They raised money for the charity. 💰

👉 raise 一定要有「被舉起/被養育/被募到/被飼養的東西」！
