A famous Indian social worker and social activist, Sindhutai Sapkal, lovingly called as Mai (Mother of Orphans) is in Taiwan right now. She will be visiting Hsinchu City today.

Short Bio: Sindhutai Sapkal (Mai) is an Indian social worker who is popular for her work in raising orphaned children in India. She has devoted her entire life to orphans and has nurtured over 1050 orphaned children. She has been honored with over 273 awards for her dedication and work. In 2017 she was awarded Nari Shakti Award (highest civilian award for Women) by President of India.

【Urgent】Wan An Drill萬安演習
Dear Student,
The 2018 Wan An No. 41 Air Raid Drill will take place between 1:30 PM to 2 PM on Monday, June 04, 2018.
Once the air raid sirens go off, pedestrians and vehicles should follow evacuation instructions of police, military, and evacuation personnel to seek shelter and vacate the roads. The high-speed rail, railway, metro, freeway and aircraft services will operate normally. Citizens should pay attention to notifications and comply with the drill.
The Wan An Drill is a series of military exercises and civil defense drills held by Taiwan. They are now held to strengthen and test emergency response capability of local governments and the military for contingencies such as fires, terrorist attacks, and nuclear accidents.
