Hsinchu County American School - HCAS 新竹縣康乃薾美國學校 HCAS' School Motto【AUT VIAM INVENIAM AUT FACIUM】meaning “We Shall either Find a Way or Make One." 本校校訓為「為自己找條合適的路，或開闢一條嶄新的路!」

Hsinchu County American School (HCAS) is a private school located in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Ideally located 750 meters from the Hsinchu High Speed Rail Station and Liujia Train Station, and seven kilometers from the world-renowned Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park, HCAS seeks to attract many top talented students from the Silicon Valley of Asia as well as from other locations in Taiwan. HCAS is a WASC candidate K-12 International School that offers an innovative North American curriculum based on Common Core Standards. We at HCAS challenge our students academically by offering a broad range of courses including Advanced Placement (AP) courses and enabling our high school students to design an academic program best suited to their interests, abilities, and goals.

Aligned with August’s 7C focus on Community, today’s activities showed everyone the effort and care it takes to foster true team unity.

2026-27 School Year Event Recap

Yesterday (Aug. 20), the HCAS campus was filled with warmth and lively energy! Our Back-to-School Night went beautifully, with many families coming together to meet face-to-face with their kids' teachers and homeroom teachers, as well as members of the Board, leadership team, PTA, and administrative staff 💬✨ Thank you to all the parents who joined us — your presence is one of the greatest sources of support for your children's growth! 🙌

We're looking forward to walking alongside you and your children throughout the rest of the school year 💪

昨天（8月20日），HCAS校園裡洋溢著溫暖與熱鬧的氣氛！「親師之夜」圓滿落幕，許多家庭齊聚一堂，與孩子們的各科老師、導師，家長會以及董事會、領導團隊和行政人員面對面交流。

As the new semester begins, HCAS held its first PTA meeting today! We warmly welcome every new parent joining us as well as the returning parents. A special shoutout to James Lin, the new PTA president for taking the reins this year. Parents, board members, and leadership came together for a lively exchange of ideas on upcoming activities and how to make our students’ school experience even better.

新學期開始，HCAS 今天舉行了本學期第一次PTA家長會, 我們誠摯歡迎所有新加入的家長，也很高興再次見到熟悉的家長們。特別要向新任 PTA會長James Lin 致意，感謝他今年接下這份重要的責任，帶領PTA邁向新的一年。會議中，家長、董事與學校領導團隊 齊聚一堂，針對未來活動規劃及如何提升學生的在校體驗，進行了熱烈的交流與討論，激盪出許多寶貴的想法。

Ninth-grade student Seehyun shone at the “2026 Chunghwa Olympic Cup International Beauty Industry Exchange & Competition and Gastronomy, Cultural & Creative Arts Aesthetics” competition, sweeping four awards in the International Painting Aesthetics Awards. With outstanding artistic skill and creativity, she stood out among many talented competitors, bringing great honor to our school!
