【支持 Formosan Fox 前進 IREC 2026｜Project DIVA 天后】

Formosan Fox Rocketry 是來自國立陽明交通大學的學生火箭團隊。我們將於今年 6 月前往美國德州，參與 IREC 2026 國際火箭工程競賽，帶著今年的任務火箭 Project DIVA「天后」，再次站上國際舞台，挑戰探空火箭的飛行任務。DIVA 目前已通過海選與 2 次的參賽審查，並完成賽前關鍵的飛行準備審查 Video Flight Readiness Review，持續進行最後階段的測試與整合。

今年的任務火箭 Project DIVA「天后」，目標挑戰 10K ft COTS 組別，並以安全飛行、成功回收與穩定通訊為核心。DIVA 的名稱靈感來自台灣傳統信仰中的天后──媽祖，以守護航行與旅途平安的意象，象徵對火箭順利升空、完成任務並完整回收的期許；英文名稱 DIVA 則帶有舞台主角的意涵，代表這支火箭將眾所矚目並盡力為校爭光。

今年的 Mission Patch 也承載著這次任務的精神與祝福。外形以台灣傳統 天燈 為雛形，象徵順利升空；上方的 媽祖頭飾 呼應任務名稱「天后」。圖中的 五顆星 象徵 Formosan Fox 至今完成與發展的五支火箭，閃耀於天際；下方火焰則設計成陽明交大吉祥物 狐狸 的意象，代表 Project DIVA 將承載著團隊、學校與所有支持者的期許，一同飛向天空。

【March Recap | 三月回顧】

三月是團隊持續累積實作經驗與對外分享火箭工程的一個月。從校系博覽會、硝糖火箭製作，到各次系統整合與技術討論 ，Diva 的各項任務進度都達成了。本月的進展包含：

🎓 校系博覽會擺攤
3/7，團隊參與了校系博覽會，向高中生介紹 Formosan Fox Rocketry 的團隊發展與學生火箭實作經驗，讓更多同學認識探空火箭與機械系的工程實作。

🚀 硝糖火箭製作
為機械系 50 週年展示活動進行硝糖火箭的製作與測試，並透過實作過程讓成員熟悉模型火箭的製作流程。

🛠 結構組
完成航電結構設計與全箭組裝，推進整體系統整合進度。

📡 航電組
進行應用於通訊與火箭追蹤系統的天線設計，並使用 HFSS 建立微帶天線模型進行模擬。

🔥 回收推進組
進行了兩項技術主題討論：
火藥藥柱幾何設計對推力曲線的影響
降落傘 Reefing 減緩衝擊技術與阻力計算分析
透過推進與回收相關分析，增進團隊對火箭飛行與回收系統的理解。

📷 酬載組
完成 SIGHT CubeSat 探空隨筆 CanSat 共乘介面與火箭的整合，並進行攝影機啟動與運作測試，確認影像紀錄系統功能。

March was not only about moving Project DIVA forward. From outreach and sugar rocket preparation to subsystem integration and technical studies, we continued building both the rocket and the team. This month’s progress included:

🎓 Department Expo Outreach
Our team participated in a department expo for high school students, introducing Formosan Fox Rocketry and sharing our passion for rocketry and hands-on engineering experience.

🚀 Sugar Rocket Preparation
We manufactured and tested sugar rockets in preparation for the Mechanical Engineering Department’s 50th anniversary showcase. The process also helped members gain hands-on experience with model rocket fabrication procedures.

🛠 Structure
Completed the structure design of the avionics bay and full rocket assembly, moving the rocket integration process forward.

📡 Avionics
Worked on antenna design and simulation using HFSS to develop a microstrip antenna model that offers a more compact, lightweight, and easily integrated solution for future communication and tracking applications.

🔥 Recovery / Propulsion
The team held two internal knowledge-sharing sessions this month, focusing on topics related to propulsion and recovery system design:
The effect of solid propellant grain geometry on thrust profile
Parachute reefing for shock reduction and drag analysis

📷 Payload
Integrated the SIGHT CubeSat 探空隨筆 CanSat rideshare interface onto the rocket and completed camera activation and operation tests to verify the basic functionality of the onboard image recording system.
