The time has finally come. Today marks Day 6 of our summer camp, which means our camp has come to an end. On this last day of our summer camp, each team presents the final presentation that they have built during these 6 days. With cohesive work and guidance from mentors, each team could come up with a fascinating presentation.

Throughout the day, each team presents their final presentation using SDGs as their main topics. There were 16 teams that participated in the presentation. They are: Bamboo Team, Fantastic Five Team, Terran Team, R.Y.D Team, Bumi Team, Aces Team, Mickey Mouse Crackhouse Team, United Team, Hope! Team, UNITIVERSE Team, IVY League Team, Ateliers Team, SOTHAS Team, TheFabFive Team, MUTAL Team, and The Tiny Protectors Team.

In the evening, there was an award ceremony. We would like to congratulate some teams for their amazing achievements. Here they are!

1. Overall winner : The Hope! team
2. The most innovative team : The Mutal team
3. The most creative team : The Aces team
4. The most feasible team : The Bumi team

Lastly, our camp concluded with a closing ceremony hosted by our camp director, Liv Nguyen. In addition, we hope that you have gained new insights and knowledge about the SDGs as a result of this summer camp.

Hard to believe that it’s Day 5 of our summer camp already! Wondered about what happened throughout the day? Boy, do we have some news for you!

As we start the day, we were welcomed with a wonderful cultural session conducted by Professor Lee Chufeng, who's a Chinese lecturer, where the students learned more in-depth about the Chinese language as well as various bits of Taiwanese culture. They were exceedingly eager to interact with the Professor, especially when they were discussing the delicious and diverse food of Taiwan.

Following the break, we have our final main session of the camp which is Introduction to Materials Science by Professor Che-Ning Yeh. In this session, Prof. Yeh introduced us to various sorts of insights regarding Materials Science; from advanced energy materials to micro- and nano-electronic devices and many more.

And to top it all off, we also had a mentoring session to fully prepare for tomorrow's big presentation day for the participants.

It all comes down to tomorrow. All the students have been working hard and preparing for their presentations on the camp’s final day. We all could hardly wait!

Time flies by fast when you’re hustling and bustling! Today marks Day 4 of our summer camp, and today’s scoop is prepared just for you.

Starting off in the morning, Professor Wang Weichung talked about the interdisciplinary Engineering stint offered by the NTHU International Bachelor Program. Prof. Wang emphasized the importance of a challenging yet fulfilling environment in the field of science and technology all the while encouraging the students about the endless possibilities to come in the future. One of the most notable takeaways Prof. Wang mentioned was that Mandarin Chinese is beneficial in networking, business, and lifelong learning.

Soon after Prof. Wang’s inspirational talk, the student campers met up with the mentors for their cross-pitching sessions. Here, mentors were able to give critiques, comments, and points of improvement for the student's upcoming final presentations. Many of the students expressed their heartfelt gratitude toward the guidance of the mentors and took their advice as a stepping stone for further polishing the potential of their presentations.

It’s already Day 3 of our summer camp!

Today we begin with the Mandarin Education Session by Professor Kuo Mei Chun on the significance of learning Mandarin and how to do so.

Yesterday we had a brief introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals, and today we were going to discuss NTHU Exploration. This session is not only about university student life but also how SDGs are integrated into our daily lives at NTHU.

After lunch, we have a very interesting session called the CULTURAL Session, conducted by Professor Chen Xiao Ming. Participants in this session will learn to cut paper into the shapes of pandas, butterflies, and flowers.

The last mentoring session of the day allows participants to pose any questions to their mentors, and we can see that they are eager to do so.

A brief introduction to the relation of BM and EECS to SDGs
For the second day, we start with the BM main session with Ph. D. candidate Grace Yi talking about Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Here, she explained the balance between profit-making and tackling social problems.

After a break, the summer camp continues with the EECS main session about Speech Technologies, with Prof. Yi Wen Liu as the lecturer. He thoroughly explained voice transformations and the future opportunities & concerns of voice coding.

Lastly, after a short break from the EECS main session, we end today's activity by meeting and discussing the mentors and forming groups for the final presentation. Although the participants' communication is limited for this project, we can see that they can communicate well using Discord.

Let's recap what we have done today and looking forward to seeing you guys joining all interesting tomorrow!
