Established in 1988, Solarman Corporation has been engaging in importing and exporting livestock and the relative products with specialized knowledge and service over 17 years. This company plays an important role in improving the genetics of dairy/meat goats, dairy cattle and horses industry in Taiwan. Working closely with governmental livestock research institutes, goat farmer association and dairy corporative, we have helped to lay a strong foundation of Taiwan’s goat industry.

From 1991 to 1998, Taiwan had imported 13,000 head topnotch dairy/ meat goats, including five major breeds, Alpine, Saanen, Toggenburg, Nubian and Boer goats from the U.S. Australia and New Zealand to grade up the quality. The population and milk production hence took a big stride forward. The huge and affluent goat industry in Taiwan, though among the top few, is not known by other parts of the world for not spreading the message and lacking propaganda. So far there is little or no countries can peer with Taiwan in its dairy and meat goat industries so far as the economical scale is concerned.

Solarman Corporation is willing to bridge the gap between Taiwan’s goat industry and that of other parts of the world. We believe the booming goat industry here is worthy of being used as a paradigm for commercial and academic study.
