She smiled, looking down at her belly. "I also pray that my baby girl will grow up to be kind and friendly to everything and everyone around her. I hope she will find something she is willing to devoted herself to and she feels happy when she does it".

Everyone should do everything wholeheartedly and passionately. It is the key to success.

When I am running, I focus on my the movement of my legs. I enjoy the wind blowing in my hair when I run. I love running so much that I forget how exhausted I am, and this is why I won all the races and even become a record holder.

“To say is one thing, and to do is another. Never give up.”

Seeing my sister’s instrument, silver, glimmering under the sunshine, I admired her so much. But unfortunately, I wasn't old enough to get into the school band. French Horn is large and you actually have to use your energy in your stomach to make music.

Time went by. I never gave up on my dream. I got on the school band. I practiced relentlessly. I finally realised my dream.

When I was in elementary school, my classmates bullied me very often. I was very angry and did not want to be friends with them. Most of my classmates kept distance from me. Hatred was like a net, trapping me like an injured bird. The harder I struggled, the more I got hurt.

When I came to Concordia, I promised myself to make a big change. I tried to have a better temper and forgave my elementary school classmates. Forgiving was pretty hard at first, but I started to learn how to let my hatred go.

"I'm here again."
Four years ago, when I finished graduate school, my parents encouraged me to come back here to be a teacher. Concordia is an important place for me because it has made an impact on my life. I love the campus, the open space and the outstanding students. Working here, I feel like I am home.

"Never give up and practice is my way to win!"
The confidence came out from her voice.
"I'm not running for anyone. I'm running for myself. The desire of winning makes me fight my limit."

"Focus on one thing at a time.”
Always find a good question and focus on it. Once it took me three days to solve one single question and I learned. If a person tries to do many things all at once, they can't do anything well. It is not possible to get one hundred percent on everything. Yet, it would be possible if you focus on one thing at a time.

When I was born, I had problems with my liver so I needed an operation to fix it when I was still very little. Luckily, my mom's liver matched mine and she donated a part of her live to me. After that, I live in a different way. I can't do things that everybody else can do, and need to take care of myself all the time. There was shadow on me before, but I had decided to erase it. When will my body have problems again? I don't really know, so I want to treasure the time I have now. To smile like others, laugh like others, and live a wonderful life like anyone else.

When I was six, I found out that my sister was more talented than me at piano. It was a big blow for me. Because I was trying to do everything perfect. Better than others. One day, my mom was mad at me because I didn't play well, I ran into my room started practicing to perfect my skills. I even thought maybe jumping off the chair can make all things better, my mom heard that behind the door, she ran into my room and told me how sorry she was, and told me there's no one who can do everything perfect. After that, I quit piano and picked up flute. At first, I played flute to fill the emptiness of piano in my heart; yet, I soon found out that I was extremely interested in flute. 9 years have passed and I'm still playing it. I realized when you lose some you win some.
