【探索未知的聲響維度：JONÁŠ GRUSKA + LOM 聲音講座】

國立臺灣藝術大學聲響藝術實驗中心，本次邀請到來自斯洛伐克的知名聲音藝術家 Jonáš Gruska，帶領大家跨越人類聽覺的既有範圍，打開全新的感知維度！

13:00｜第一場：JONÁŠ GRUSKA + LOM
Jonáš Gruska 畢業於海牙聲學研究所與克拉科夫音樂學院。他的創作專注於混沌節奏、聲音的心理聲學特性以及田野錄音，並擅長根據空間與材質的共鳴特性打造場域特定（Site-specific）的聲音裝置。
本場講座除了聚焦於他的作品脈絡，也將深入介紹他於 2011 年創立的「LOM」平台。LOM 致力於東與中歐的實驗音樂推廣、自製實驗聲響儀器（如 Elektrosluch），更是斯洛伐克首都布拉提斯拉瓦（Bratislava）當代聲音藝術的重要社群基地。

Jonáš Gruska studied at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague and at the Academy of Music in Kraków. His main focus is on chaotic rhythms, the exploration of psychoacoustic properties of sound, and field recording. He has created several site-specific sound installations based on the resonant properties of spaces and materials.
In addition to exploring his artistic practice, this session will also introduce "LOM," the label he founded in 2011. LOM focuses on East/Central European experimental art and music, as well as manufacturing experimental instruments (such as the Elektrosluch). It also serves as a significant community space for contemporary sound art based in Bratislava, Slovakia.

16:00｜第二場：ULTRASONICS
什麼是人類聽不見的聲音？本場次將帶你探索超越人類聽覺感知範圍的「超音波」世界。內容涵蓋工業應用、藝術創作，以及蝙蝠與昆蟲所發出的微小聲響。Jonáš 也將在現場實地示範多種超音波聆聽裝置。本場次不需要具備超音波或物理學的先備知識，只需帶著一顆開放的耳朵，與我們一起捕捉隱藏在日常中的震動！

What are the sounds humans cannot hear? This session will take you into the world of "ultrasound," exploring realms beyond the range of human auditory perception. Topics cover industrial applications, artistic creation, and the micro-sounds emitted by bats and insects. Jonáš will also conduct live demonstrations of various ultrasonic listening devices on-site. No prior knowledge of ultrasound or physics is required for this session.

➤深觸首場音像藝術活動：Internal Echo Ep.1
來自內在的、自我的呼喚，將在聲音與影像的強烈振動下產生迴響，深觸邀請到四位來自國內外的音像藝術家，包含長期在美國活動，擅於震耳欲聾的噪音轉化為自我催眠與蛻變的Amma Ateria；習慣透過編寫程式創作，關注聲音與影像之間相互觸發的的張欣語（HsinYu Chang）；熟稔實驗聲響與即時影像生成的吳承儒（ChengRu Wu）以及擅長透過聲音取樣製作多變景象的何恭譱（KungShan Ho）。
四位藝術家將用自己的語言詮釋，透過音像藝術為媒介，傳遞內心的想法與故事。
這次，深觸非常榮幸與國立臺灣藝術大學的聲響藝術實驗中心合作，將在12/6晚間帶給大家一場視聽盛宴，此活動免費入場，期待與你們相見。

➤Our first audio-visual event: Internal Echo Ep.1
A call from within, from the self, will resonate through the intense vibrations of sounds and visuals. Silence Touch is honored to invite four audio-visual artists from Taiwan and abroad to participate in this event.
These include Amma Ateria, who has long been active in the United States and is known for transforming deafening noise into self-hypnosis and metamorphosis;張欣語 HsinYu Chang, who is accustomed to creating through programming and focuses on the interplay between sound and visuals.;吳承儒 ChengRu Wu, an expert in experimental sound and real-time visual generation; and 何恭譱KungShan Ho, renowned for crafting dynamic landscapes through sound sampling.

These four artists will interpret their ideas in their unique languages, using audio-visual art as a medium to convey their inner thoughts and stories.
Silence Touch is delighted to collaborate with the Center of Sound Art and Acoustic Research at the National Taiwan University of Arts to bring you an audiovisual feast on the evening of December 6. This event is free of charge, and we’re looking forward to meeting you.

「五分車、甘蔗田、電台、糖廠與布袋戲」

上述是回想至2021年，由德彰老師帶領中心參與「等晶播種」的片段印象，除了首次踏入虎尾糖廠，也因計畫對小鎮歷史有更近一步了解，而此作二部曲「浪濤之下亦有皇都」去年已於日本山口媒體藝術中心展出，今年則將作品巡迴至鳳甲美術館，若對使用當代藝術角度來詮釋其歷史脈絡感興趣之朋友，即日起不妨前去觀賞。

'Sound Oddity' is a cross-disciplinary performance that combines music and theater, featuring elements such as instrumental music (saxophone), electronic sounds, lighting, video, and stage design. It integrates five contemporary musical pieces that resonate with the event's theme, performed and interpreted by musician Alexandre Souillart.

The center is honored to collaborate on this event and offers 30 complimentary lecture tickets. Faculty and students interested in the event are welcome to collect their tickets at the center.

視覺創作暨演出／張方禹
​
媒體藝術家。專注於各種發光媒材的質地與溫度感知，擅長應用光的媒材形塑結構，建立空間、聲音與人的連結。早期以VJ身份進入視覺藝術領域，為muse-whisper VJ團隊創始人，其開創的VJ資訊平台燧人氏Zuirens，是為臺灣當代VJ文化興起的重要推手。2022年，首次個人創作展「空間中的光結構」於 C-LAB臺灣當代文化實驗場舉行。作品《奧斯陸的雨林》入選2008台北數位藝術獎；音像作品《六月球兒》入選2020高雄獎。

聲音創作暨演出／韓承燁
​
音樂製作人、攝影師。長期與科技藝術團隊、動畫製作公司及電影製作團隊合作，曾任第58屆金馬獎及2020年金點設計獎頒獎典禮音樂總監，參與2021年倫敦雙年展，更廣泛參與各大燈會、電影、紀錄片、廣告、科技藝術裝置等音樂製作，獲得多項國際獎項。

本表演是Collado 最近的計畫 Trágame nube 的啟動，包括 16 mm投影、原始音頻錄音和一個虛構的訪談。 16 mm以雙重投影呈現：用電影膠片的兩面，探索“另一種電影”，或是隱藏在幀之間隙中的另一種電影的可能。這個計畫是為 2023 年在紐約動態影像博物館舉辦的「感官電影： Val del Omar的無盡屏幕」展覽的委託製作，該展覽聚焦於 20 世紀西班牙電影人和發明家 Val del Omar的作品。

Esperanza Collado 是一位在西班牙的藝術家與研究者。她的作品通常聚焦於藝術實踐中電影的非物質化、書寫的表演性和藝術家作為後設歷史學家的角色。

An activation of Collado’s recent work Trágame nube, involving 16mm projections, original audio recordings and a fictitious interview. Trágame nube consists of a double projection of 16mm films; two sides of a single film unit that explores an “other cinema” or the potentiality of the other film that hides in the intervals between frames. This project was commissioned for the exhibition ‘Cinema of Sensations: The Neverending Screen of Val del Omar’ at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York in 2023, focused on the work of the 20th century Spanish filmmaker and inventor José Val del Omar.

Esperanza Collado is an artist-researcher based in Spain. Her work often focuses on the dematerialization of film in art practices, the performativity of writing and the figure of the artist as meta-historian.
