(2) Get support and talk to someone you trust about what is bothering or who is pressuring you
(3) Trust your feelings, if in your heart and mind you are not comfortable in the given situation then it should not be something you should engage in
(4) Remove yourself from the situation or the people, once you are not in that environment you will be safe
(5) Stay or surround yourself with people of similar values and beliefs, you will get more support from individuals who are like-minded

Spend meaningful time with your kids with these top 5 tips.
Finding time for recreation with your kids is a struggle... far less for finding time to help them with their schoolwork. Here are some tips to help:
(1) Parents should be aware of their children's timetable; this will help them to sync the work schedule with their child's free time. Therefore, a complete timetable can be made of free time of both parties and support can be shown.
(2) Place children as priority over the job. Yes, your job is important but taking the time to invest in your children's future should be a greater goal.
(3) Delegate responsibilities to your adult children or spouse, hence freeing your time to assist in younger child's homework.
(4) Try to establish a routine between school, pick up and drop off, work and extracurricular activities. Setting this routine will allow everyone to understand the importance of time management
(5) Take time not to stress and take time for self-reflection. Free time may present itself if you are aware of who and what are your duties. This can only come with a clear mind.

How do you really know what you want to do in life?
A student trying to discover what you want to be in life is often a great task.
Here are a 5 questions you can ask yourself to help:
(1) What are you most pasionate about in life?
The career path that will be best for you should be based on doing something you enjoy. This choice will come with its challenges but will be driven by your passion as your main motivation factor.
(2) If your life had no limits what would you choose to have and what would your choose to do?Setting limitations on your lfie will stunt your growth. Knowing that you can accomplish anything once you put the right actions in place will ensure you achieve your goals. Don't dream small!
(3) Who do you admine most in the world?
The person you admire most in the world will motivate you to pursue a career in the same or similar field. That person will be your blueprint to follow. You can study their choices, schools, decisions and learn from their experiences to help you find your own path.
(4) What do you not like to do?
This may be the most important aspect in your decision. Often students pursue a career which they dislike because of family pressures. The goal is for you, the student, to choose your own path. Seek experience in what you enjoy and learn to make this into an income stream.
(5) How hard am I willing to work to get what I want?
This is the foundation on which these choices can be built. Once you have made your decision you must decide the effort required to make it a reality. Achieving this goal is based on your consistency and dedication.
Share with a young person you know. This post can be the help they need to make a career decision which will change their lives forever.

Coping mechanisms for busy parents.
Being a parent is a life-long journey both with its ups and downs.
Here's some advice to help you enjoy the journey:

Mistakes made by your children are not your fault or the soul expression of your parenting. Do not beat up yourself for ever error.

Repeat positive messages to yourself over and over.
(3) Develop a support system.
Share your feelings of frustration, anger and concern honestly.

5 habits that lead to studying success.
(a) Find the ideal location.
It should have all the amenities that will make your study experience ideal for nurturing that development. Claim it as your special space or spot, be it at your home, library or even the park.
(b) Make studying fun!
Or at least try to make it interactive. Studying and fun may not come in the same sentence when relating to children, but there are many apps and quizzes online that have interactive games and competitions that they can get involved in. You can set personal goals and setting that you have up in your room and once something is achieved you can tick it off, hence you can see your progress and be motivated to continue working.
(c) Always test yourself
Practice your past papers too. This will provide you with mindset to face exams and take away that exam anxiety. Sometimes a good gauge is to experience the exam first e.g., Sign up for CSEC in January or if capable attempt an exam during your form 4 year.
(d) Get a study partner
Get a good, focused and committed group of friends to study with. The support system of people who wish to achieve that same success can be ideal to assist you if ever you are lost or tired.
(e) Plan
You should always have a plan when you set out to study. It should incorporate the following: your goals, duration of study and dates, assessments, breaks, location and ideal environment.
Study success here you come!
