Devine devotion through dance... The Suryarmika Dance Group was established on April 3rd 2017.
The group was founded by Shaheed Ali who is known by many for his tremendous talent in the dance industry, with performances since age 5. Shaheed's interest and love for Bharatanatyam dance, as well as his training by Rajkumar Krishna Persad was the foundation of his classical techniques. He names legends in the industry as Michael Salickram, Krishna Persad, Rajesh Seenath and Susan Mohip and wishes to take his training in the art of dance to the highest level.

It is with great sadness that we pay our last respects to this wonderful and boisterous human being….. Uncle Dennis Pysadee who would’ve departed this mortal realm on the 10th of November 2025.
Uncle Dennis was a dedicated dad to his kids but also to all the dance students who had the opportunity of of being around him. His love for culture and and arts was profound and he fondly enjoyed seeing all dancers perform. He has indeed left an unforgettable mark with each of us and we remember him in his happy and unforgettable moments to much to mention…
We pray Hanuman babas strength to his wonderful wife and his 3 kids as they try to cope with this great loss. The loss is ours as well.
We love you dad and may Shri Krishna take you to your peaceful aboad and may you attain moksha.
The funeral takes place tomorrow at 11pm at Boodoos Funeral Home in cunupia followed by cremation rights at the caroni cremation site.
