ribbean through instruction in the creative arts at the highest level of academic, professional and technical accreditation available at, or through, The University of the West Indies. The Department offers programmes at four levels:

2.Undergraduate Degree
3.Occasional
4.Postgraduate

The Department offers two undergraduate specials, three majors, two postgraduate diplomas, one MA degree, and five certificates, which can be pursued on a full-time and/or part-time basis at The University of the West Indies. Certificate Programmes

The certificate programmes are geared to meet the needs of the young practising artists. Most classes are held on evenings.

◦Practitioner’s Certificate in Drama/Theatre in Education – one year
◦Certificate in Technical Theatre Production – one year
◦Certificate in Dance and Dance Education - one year & one semester
All certificate programmes allow for matriculation at the undergraduate degree level, if students obtain B+ GPA. These programmes are usually advertised in January. Special programmes are also offered:
