The Conference on the Economy (COTE) will be held under the theme:
“Exploring New Opportunities for the Blue, Green, and Orange Economy in the Caribbean and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) for Sustainable Development.”
This theme reflects the region’s strategic priorities and underscores the importance of sustainable and inclusive growth driven by innovation, resilience, and effective governance. The conference will provide a platform for scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and industry leaders to share research findings, policy insights, and innovative approaches that can contribute to the sustainable development of the Caribbean and other Small Island Developing States.
Submissions are invited in relation to the following sub-themes:
Geopolitical and Economic Shifts
Environmental and Climate Challenges
Social and Demographic Trends
The Blue Economy: Where Did the Buccoo Go?
The Green Economy: What’s Your Footprint?
The Orange Economy: The Multiplier of Machel
We welcome interdisciplinary contributions that explore emerging opportunities, challenges, policy implications, and innovative solutions relevant to these areas.
