At the Health Services Unit’s World Mental Health Day pop-up, Campus Psychiatrist Dr. Shivan Mahabir highlighted the range of experiences that can fall under anxiety, from panic attacks to difficulties with public speaking and presentations.

You'll spend the year building leadership skills, fundraising and preparing with fellow students for a regional service trip.

The University of the West Indies (The UWI), St. Augustine Campus has enhanced the range of internationally accredited professional expertise available to students, researchers and partners through its Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Lecturer in Actuarial Science, Mr. Brendon Bhagwandeen, has been awarded Chartered Statistician (CStat) status by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS), United Kingdom, the Society’s highest professional award in statistics.
