The Postgraduate Guild Council is launching a major mapping project, and we need your skills!

We’re putting together a small team to design a GIS map of all postgraduate locations on the UWI St. Augustine Campus. This includes:

* Postgraduate classrooms
* Study rooms & lounges
* Department postgraduate offices
* Labs & research spaces
* Graduate student service points
* Key access routes & parking

If you have experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, ArcGIS Online, StoryMaps, or any GIS/mapping tools, we’d love to have you on board.

Your work will help us create a campus-wide resource to improve navigation and visibility for all postgraduate students.

Compensation will be provided.

Today we officially start teaching for the new semester and academic year 2022/2023.

Yesterday the S.T.A.A.P.S. Executive had their first meeting where they discussed the formalization of an efficient administrative structure for the Association among many things.

They were introduced to the Director of the Office of Graduate Studies and Research, the sagacious Professor Hariharan Seetharaman; the team and the office discussed various projects coming up this academic year that will promote the holistic development of postgraduate students as well as expose them to numerous opportunities in both academia and industry.
