and Tobago, where the average age of farmers is 55, WHYFARM intends to address the pressing question of who will feed the world in 2050. To answer this question young entrepreneurial farmer Alpha Sennon, the founder of WHYFARM, has developed an innovative approach to engaging and educating youth on the importance of agriculture for food security and nutrition through agricultural education and entertainment (agri-edutainment). He plans to grow the world’s future feeders by turning agriculture into ‘agricoolture’ with the help of his innovative creation - the world’s first food security and nutrition superhero, Agriman. WHYFARM aims to provide young men and women with the knowledge and skills to identify and recognise opportunities within the agricultural sector for self-sustenance and improved livelihoods.
