The entire Signal Hill family is beaming with pride today! We extend heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Kester Charles, who has been a hard working Chemistry and Integrated Science teacher at Signal Hill Secondary, since 2010. Mr. Charlesโs daughter, Miss Khylie Shyaera Charles placed second overall, in the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA)! ๐ What an absolutely phenomenal feat!
Khylie shared her gratitude, first and foremost, to God for His grace and mercies. She also thanked her amazing support system: her father for just being "daddy", and always being there, her mother, grandparents, and cousins for their unwavering support. ๐ Khylie also appreciates Ms. Des Vignes, the Principal of Signal Hill Primary School, for providing such a nurturing environment. She is also grateful to all her teachers from her Infant 1 teacher Ms. Alexander to her STD 5 teacher Ms. Gopaul. Additionally, Khylie highlighted her private tutor, Ms. Sebro, who truly challenged her, especially with her writing! โ๏ธ
Khylie set a goal to do well, and attend her first-choice school. Placing second on the island was just a bonus! While she's still figuring out her career path, we are absolutely certain this brilliant young lady is destined for greatness. โจMay God continue to guide, bless, and keep you, Khylie! We can't wait to see all the incredible things you will achieve! ๐
