The Scarborough Secondary School and the Blue Marlin family salutes an educator of excellence, Mr. Arlon James. Mr James was a former Teacher III and HOD Ag. for Modern Studies at this institution from 2000 - 2014. He instructed students in History/Social Studies; mentored several young men and women as a Form Teacher and guided many athletes as a teacher/ manager/ coach of the school's football team. He was a dedicated friend to many, passionate educator and member of TTUTA but most importantly he served his school and island with a dedication that cannot be matched. Mr Arlon "Jamesy" James was a stalwart of this institution and he would be truly missed. Rest in Peace.

Kayode Shipley

Biography- Kayode is a talented and well-rounded young leader who continues to excel in the arts, sports, leadership, and school life. He performed as Principal Actor at the Tobago Heritage Festival Gala and starred in the Tobago House of Assembly’s Night of Mystery. A gifted athlete, he earned Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the Secondary Schools Championships in Discus, Shot Put, and Hammer, while also participating in Netball, Volleyball, and Basketball.

His commitment to leadership and service is equally impressive, having earned a promotion in the Trinidad and Tobago Cadet Force, served on the Cadet Media Team, and placed 9th out of 62 participants in the Public Speaking competition. At school, he actively contributes to the AV Club, Beautification Club, and Student Council. Across academics, the stage, sports, and service, Kayode continues to distinguish himself through discipline, talent, leadership, and heart.
