Comprehensive Reading Assessments aimed
at determining-
* independent, instructional, or frustration levels for word identification and comprehension
Remediation Instruction aimed at -
* addressing reading deficiencies
* motivating reluctant and struggling readers
Pro-Active Instructional Sessions aimed at –
* maintaining and sustaining improved performance of non-struggling or independent readers
A Combination of Teacher Professional Development Workshops and Instructional
Coaching aimed at –
* building teacher knowledge and instructional skills in reading and writing literacy pedagogical practices
* meeting individual teacher professional needs
Professional development services are offered to Primary schools in the following areas : Reciprocal Teaching, Differentiating Instruction, The Role of Assessment Data in the Classroom, Assessment of Reading Levels. Additionally, ESP offers Consultation Services to Tertiary Level Students , Parents, Primary School Principals, Parent Teacher Associations, and other stakeholders interested in education. Essay structuring, editing services and Professional Tutoring for CSEC & CAPE History and CSEC English are also offered.
