Health and Drug Management for the elderly.

Face to Face classes.

San Juan location only.

Qualifications required to do this course:
1. A certificate in geriatric nursing, patient care technician\assistant, care givers or certified nursing assistant.

Must be 18 years to 65 years.

Registration fee $200.00
Tuition fee$1500.00

Payment plan is available.

Class starts on Saturday, 15th August 2026.
Time 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Duration of the course is 12 weeks.

The course content aims to enhance the understanding of the management of the health issues, the interpretation of the health status, therapeutics for chronic diseases, infectious diseases and cancer. The course will also highlight the duties and tasks of care givers, geriatric nurses, patient care technician OR certified nursing assistant.

Upon completing the course, learners will be able to:

1. Understand the importance of ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of medication in care home and home care environments.
2. Demonstrate proper training, competency, and effective communication when administering medication to clients.
3. Identify and manage associated side effects of the administered medication.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a signed certificate, validating their expertise in the administration of medication for Geriatrics home clients and home care clients.

FREE UNIFORM ( scrub top with the school monogram) , you must be in full uniform for classes. A scrub top and a black pants with a closed toe shoe. No slippers or sandals are allowed in class.
