World Steelpan Day, observed annually on August 11, honours the creativity, resilience and cultural heritage of our people while recognizing the global impact of this iconic instrument.

Human trafficking is a serious crime that exploits people through forced labour, sexual exploitation, forced marriage, and other forms of abuse.

Human Trafficking Facts:
🔹 74% of traffickers operate within organized crime groups.
🌍 In 2022, victims from 162 nationalities were trafficked to 128 countries.
👨 About 70% of people investigated, prosecuted, and convicted for trafficking were men.
🌍 African victims were the most widely trafficked group, making up 31% of cross-border trafficking flows.
