The Naparima College standout has earned exceptional results in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE), achieving five distinctions.

Now, the brilliant 18-year-old is preparing for another major chapter in his academic journey as he heads to the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he will join the Class of 2030 to pursue a degree in electrical engineering.

🏅 NAPARIMA COLLEGE CELEBRATES EXCELLENCE ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE! 🇹🇹🧪

The Administration of Naparima College, led by our Principal, Mr. Roger Ali, and Acting Vice Principal, Mr. Alan Umraw, today warmly congratulated Mr. Reginald Mohammed on his outstanding achievement in securing a Bronze Medal at the 2026 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).

Reginald’s remarkable accomplishment is a source of immense pride for Naparima College and Trinidad and Tobago, as he represented both his College and country with distinction on the international stage.

The Administration also extended congratulations to Zeeshaan Lall, Form 5 student, for his outstanding performance in the Trinidad and Tobago Chemistry Olympiad and for continuing to represent Naparima College with distinction.

We gratefully acknowledge the invaluable support of the Naparima College Association of Past Students (NAPS Alumni) and NAPSAC, our Parent-Teacher Association, whose partial sponsorship and continued commitment contributed significantly towards supporting our students on their journey to success.

We celebrate these exceptional young men whose dedication, discipline and passion for Chemistry continue to uphold Naparima College’s proud tradition of academic excellence.

The Naparima College Drama Club (NCDC) will be hosting an end of year show, remounting our 2025 award winning play *_The Understudied_* and a final restaging of our internationally acclaimed work *_ALPHA_*, which we took to the Toronto Fringe Festival, 2025 last July.

Yes indeed! TWO plays in one sitting!! Ideal for all Secondary students.

This will be the final run of _ALPHA_ as some of the cast will be graduating.
For the matinee TEACHERS ARE FREE; 1 with every 20 students. A Q&A will follow each play.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures within our Naparima family whose guidance, sacrifice, and unwavering support have shaped generations.

It is with deep sadness that we inform the Naparima College alumni community of the passing of Mr. Deonarine Ramsumair, affectionately known as “Scrubby.”

Mr. Ramsumair served the College with distinction as a Spanish teacher and Head of Department, concluding his tenure at Naparima College in 1985. Throughout his years of service, he made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students and colleagues through his dedication to education and his commitment to the College.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, former students, and fellow educators during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of a life devoted to teaching and service.

Funeral arrangements will be shared once they become available.
