The Alumni is saddened by the passing of former Spanish teacher, Mr Nizamuddin Qadir, who served for many years until retirement.

Generations of students have had fond memories, learning a new language with him, and while he will be sorely missed, his contribution to the school will never be forgotten.

“I can truly say that my seven years spent at ASJA Boys’ College is a very memorable part of my life. There were so many aspects of my school life that I thoroughly enjoyed and miss a lot to this day such as the camaraderie amongst the students, dedicated staff as well as the numerous activities held every academic year. Some of my favourite activities included the annual sports day, 5K road race and interclass football. I also had the privilege of representing ASJA Boys’ in football from the under 14, under 16 and straight to senior level. I sincerely believe that ASJA Boys’ College has helped mould me to become the person I am today and for this, I am very grateful. My future career goal is to become a doctor and specialize in either Surgery or Paediatrics.”
- excerpt from the College Yearbook Alpha 2015

"We are brothers who share a bond that although concieved here at the college, will grow stronger wherever our future takes us. I urge you to never forget each other and the time spent in school together."
- excerpt Valedictorian Address 2014

Jeron was memorable in all aspects of life, whether sports or academics. He was truly a young, intelligent man who always succeeded at anything he put his brilliant mind to. The extent of the impact he had on so many lives is testament to his larger than life personality, impeccable character and endless determination to excel. His optimism, long-lasting friendships and zest for life will never be forgotten.

Jeron, you have permanently enriched all our lives by your short presence on this Earth.

May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.

Rest in eternal peace dear friend, till we meet again.

ASJA Boys' College 60th Anniversary Celebrations 2020 13/02/2020

Our guests convened at the South Academy for the performing arts on January 25th, 2020 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of our Alma Mater.

Themed "Arabian Nights" it was an afternoon filled with entertainment and old friends! Starting with a cocktail reception (halaal), there was ample time to socialize and catch up with stakeholders, past alumni and academic staff.

We transformed SAPA to a picturesque oasis set in bold colors with 20+ feet drapes towering on the stage.

Hosted by the talented Rai Ricomas the program took us through the past, present and a projection of the future.

As the school song was sung by Mr. Omare Asson, the curtains closed and we bid farewell until another Arabian Night!

Special thanks to those who made this event possible!
