​Did you know the symbolism behind today's date? 11 represents the two sticks, and 8 represents two tenor pans! 🥁✨

​At Ste. Madeleine Secondary School, our talented students aren't just learning how to play—they are getting hands-on experience refurbishing, tuning, and mastering the sweet sounds of the steelpan. Watching their dedication, creativity, and passion come alive in the panyard is truly something special.

​We are exceptionally proud to celebrate Lisha, daughter of our esteemed PTA President, Mr. Peters, as she proudly represents Ste. Madeleine Secondary School on the grand stage!

​Lisha has danced her way into the Mastana Bahar Finals, and she will be performing live this Sunday, 16th August 2026, at the Brothers Ranch, San Francique.

🏫 Turning Challenges into Opportunities at Ste. Madeleine Secondary School! 🛠️

​Despite facing a shortage of furniture, our incredible students are not waiting for solutions—they are building them!

​Over the past week, Mr. Campbell and Mr. Mendoza led the boys in an inspiring hands-on workshop focused on the rehabilitation of school chairs and desks. This project turned into an incredible real-world learning experience where students gained mastery in:

​Precision Engineering: Learning exact metal cutting at 45° and 90° angles.

​Applied Mathematics: Measuring and calculating total steel lengths to determine the exact number of pieces needed.

​Welding & Fabrication: Fitting pieces, tack welding, and squaring components before final welding.
​It is amazing to see our students turning adversity into a masterclass in craftsmanship, teamwork, and problem-solving. The best part? They now look forward to every session, walking in eager to learn and full of great questions. ✌️🙏

​We are immensely proud of Mr. Campbell, Mr. Mendoza, and our hardworking students for showing true resilience and skill. Ste. Madeleine Secondary continues to shine bright! ✨
