Last night, our Spanish Club, for the third year, attended a Flamenco concert hosted by the Embassy of Spain to Trinidad and Tobago to raise funds for refugees and migrants.
It was so moving to be in the presence of flamenco dancers and musicians sharing their culture with the people of Trinidad and Tobago 🇪🇸 🇹🇹
**🎤 Singing Competition:** Our form 2s showed off their vocal talents and sang their corazones out in our Spanish Singing Competition. It was 2A’s time to shine though 2S also won the crowd's applause. 🌟---

Thank you to all our club members who helped to pull this off. Hola Hola, our club was pleased to attend the Language Day held by Presentation College San Fernando on February 23rd, 2024. Members of the club, as well as Profesora N. Shah, learnt of the wonders of The Language and the culture, study abroad opportunities and a bit of history of each country, namely France, España y Germany. It was definitely a fun filled day with lots of events as well as meeting up with sharing the Beauty of the Spanish Culture.
The best way to learn a language is by immersing oneself in the culture and this is exactly what the Language Day was all about.

Members of the Club Español attended a concert at the NAPA, “Raíces” last night. The live performances included Andalucian Flamenco song, music and dance by Rebeca Ortega and her dance company from Sevilla Spain. The students experienced the concert , now in its 12th year, from front row seats! They also enjoyed meeting the bailarina famosa after the concert 💃
We also met our favorite friends from !! It was so nice to see them again!
Muchísimas gracias for another year of sharing the Spanish culture with us and this year supporting La Casita, a foundation in Arima for refugees.

Buenas tardes amigos, cuanto tiempo sin publicar. Last Friday a few of our members along with students from Presentation College attended a seminar hosted by SIFL . At this event, our pupils were exposed to the culture of the Dominican Republic and engaged in related activities. They were placed in groups and played games that tested their knowledge of the Dominican Republic's culture. Our ASJA Boys' placed 2nd in the competition and received a trophy. Our boys were treated to pizza and dulce de leche . Our club extends its heartfelt gratitude to SIFL San Fernando for its continued support and forever alliance. We would also like to thank the Dominican Republic Embassy for this amazing experience.
