✨️Teaching our children about Allah from a young age lays the foundation for a life filled with faith, love, and guidance.

When we teach them Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah) we teach them who their Creator is, who provides for them, who protects them and loves them more than anyone else ever can.

Tawheed also nurtures sincerity, good character, gratitude, humility, and a strong moral compass.

As parents and educators, it is our responsibility to plant these seeds of Imaan in their hearts through our words, actions, duas, and daily reminders. Even the smallest lessons, such as saying Bismillah and Alhamdulillah, teaching them Allah’s names, encouraging salah, and reminding them that Allah sees and loves good deeds, can have a lasting impact for generations to come.

May Allah make our children among those who love Him, worship Him sincerely, and remain firm upon Tawheed throughout their lives. Aameen.

✨️Letter and phonological/phonemic recognition are essential foundations for early reading and writing development in young children.

In Early Childhood Care and Education, these skills help children build confidence, communication abilities, and literacy success.

Letter recognition helps children identify their letters ( a, b, c, d ) etc.

Phonological/Phonemic recognition helps children understand the sounds those letters represent and even words, eg. A-Ah-Apple 🍎
B - Buh - Ball 🥎 C - Cuh - Cat 🐈.

Developing letter and phonological/phonemic
recognition at an early age creates a strong literacy foundation and prepares children for lifelong learning and academic success.

Play and social interaction are essential parts of a child’s growth and development, especially during the early childhood years. Through play, children learn important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, communication, and independence

Socializing with their peers also helps children develop confidence, emotional understanding, teamwork, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships.

These experiences contribute greatly to their overall emotional, social, and intellectual development.

At TML Kindergarten, we encourage opportunities for children to learn through both structured and free play, as these moments help create a joyful and engaging learning environment where children feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn.
