Building skills. Creating opportunities.
The first cohort of the Hospitality Operations Service Training (HOST) Programme officially began its journey with an orientation session at COSTAATT City Campus on June 5. The programme, facilitated by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, will see 100 participants complete a 10-week Food and Beverage Service Course starting June 22.
Participants were welcomed by COSTAATT Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Fayola Nicolas, while Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Mrs. Penelope Bradshaw-Niles, conveyed greetings on behalf of the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs. Dean of the COSTAATT School of Workforce Enhancement and Development, Mrs. Lalita Ramlal-Chirkoot, also provided an overview of the programme and the opportunities ahead.
The hospitality industry relies on exceptional service, and programmes such as this help prepare participants to meet those expectations with confidence and professionalism.
