DESCRIPTION:

The Early Childcare and Development Programme cover a spectrum of early childcare from birth through five years and includes application for working with parents to enhance their parenting skills and outreach in the community.

History, curriculum, programme application and current trends and issues are examined.
Each course addresses the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviour associated with teaching, supporting, and promoting optimal growth and development of infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, children with special needs and parenting skills.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

None required, but CXC and experience is an asset.

OUR LECTURERS:

Fully qualified teachers with Masters and Bachelor’s Degrees in Early Childhood care
and years of experience teaching at other reputable institutions and experience in
early child care.

PRACTICUM/ CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE:

Students will complete a practicum
at a daycare, preschool, or in community settings.

CERTIFICATION:

Certification will be awarded by Eduqual UK(£85 award fee) upon successful completion of the course.
