The Caribbean Academy of Fashion and Design mourns the passing of Adrian Foster — a gifted designer, dedicated creative, and proud alumnus whose impact will long be felt within our halls and across the Caribbean fashion landscape.
Adrian was more than a student; he was a visionary in the making. From his earliest days at CAFD, he demonstrated an uncommon passion for design, coupled with a quiet determination that set him apart. His creativity was rooted in Caribbean identity while always reaching toward global excellence.
Throughout his journey, Adrian exemplified the values we hold dear — discipline, innovation, cultural pride, and perseverance. His work spoke volumes about his commitment to craft, and his growth over the years was a source of immense pride for our faculty and peers alike. He carried himself with humility and purpose, earning the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of teaching and working alongside him.
Though his time with us, and in this world was far too short, Adrian’s creative spirit, professional promise, and personal warmth have left an indelible mark on our CAFD community. His legacy lives on in the work he produced, the lives he touched, and the inspiration he provided to the next generation of Caribbean designers.
We extend our deepest condolences to Adrian’s family, friends, colleagues, and all who loved him. May they find comfort in knowing that his light continues to shine through the creative community he helped to uplift.
Rest in peace, Adrian. Your thread in the fabric of Caribbean fashion will never be forgotten. 💔
